I feel like he’s a really great actor he just needs to find a really good role outside of the mcu. Even tho devil of all time wasn’t the best his acting was really good in it
He had bad luck, but he's still a good actor. It's hardly unusual for any actor to have a couple of flops now and then, he just needs to find the right role and movie at the right time.
That’s gonna be one of those films that people will be like in 10 years time, “oh wow that was such a gem, how was it not more successful?” I also think it was a great movie but people are just so finicky nowadays that they don’t really know what they like
I can tell that "Chaos Walking" was not a good choice, he's a pretty solid actor and I felt that he deserved better projects regardless of what some haters think. I think he would've been good in 1917. That's just my thoughts, honestly.
I liked the movie Chaos walking but correct me if I'm wrong but didn't it come out when the pandemic was going on and people were staying home 🏠 that's not his fault 🙎🏻
It's weird, did they even make any advertisements for it? I didn't even know the movie existed until 2023 and the movie came out in 2021😂 It litterly starred Jennifer Lawrence and Tom Holland but no one talked about it😂
@@Charlesperalo wdym? I thought devil all the time was really great. It wasn't boring at all, i think it's just not your type of movie. Were you expecting him to be Spiderman in the movie?
Devil all the time was a good movie so i do think he has a good taste in choosing roles, he'll definitely be in a succesfull serious movie in the future
Tom should try what all the greats like Christian Bale, Robert Patterson , Andrew Garfield ,Joel Eggerton and RDJ do. He should try and make various indies per every 1 big budget film. Btw 1917 is an awesome film and George MacKay is an excellent actor.
I think he’s a talented actor with already an amazing career at such an age. I do feel he just need a bit of luck to find an amazing role outside the MCU and action/adventure type of movies.
I loved the devil all the time and Chaos walking was a good movie too. Actually i liked his roles more in those two I have seen rather than Spiderman and uncharted.
My dude? If you need to stick to what you have got on yourself?? Then stick to it! In my opinion I think Holland's is a Spider-Man great actress! But he'll never beat Tobey Maguire😂
Chaos walking is a Great film. If you haven’t yet, Do see it. It does make me wonder why people go after nonexistent CRT when PCT Patriarchal Cognitive Priming (not based on actual superiority but the need for the appearance of it at all costs including any losing all pretense of ability much less superiority) is being taught in universities and elementary and everything in between.
Watched chaos walking on Netflix, and it had an interesting premise, but then wasted it for some reason and instead made it a platonic friend movie. The idea to see people's thoughts is pretty cool, but it felt like they had no idea what story they actually wanted to tell involving it.
Thank good he wasn’t in 1917 - I admire George MacKay so much more and Chapman was brilliant. These things seem to work out for the majority, just not Holland this time.
Let me say I loved the concept of chaos walking. Could they have built the concept better? Yes, absolutely. However Tom emotionally, was so present and so good, his character was too great and the movie deserves a better recognition A bad movie is the writing, the directing, the production. However a good performance is independent of that. Tom holland is great, really great, he needs to not be tied to failures because that could hinder his growth and hollywood needs actors like Tom in its future.
People just see him as an action star? I think when Spiderman is done we will have seen the last of Tom Holland. Tobey Maguire was the biggest star in Hollywood at one time too folks, and he actually had success in drama before spiderman
He needs to do indies when he takes a break from Spider-Man. There is no lead Marvel actor rn off the top of my head who could headline a blockbuster that isn’t a Marvel IP.
@@rustyshackleford6035 true the only reason of that movie succes was tom Holland which shows he has star power which let's face it maybe 5 actor in Hollywood got right now i say he's doing great doesn't matter what he's Next movie is everybody gonna see it

Wow in this video I actually hear what you say at the end. In your other shorts you slur the last sentence into the previous sentence that I can’t tell what you’re saying because there’s no pause and because you say it so damn fast. Maybe throw some text up along with it, or just don’t say it anymore because no one knows what you say anyway.
Just finished watching Chaos walking. Why is it considered terrible. It’s not award winning but I liked it a lot. Noticeable plot holes, sure. Still enjoyable.
He should do rom coms for a while like Chris Evans and McConnahheyheyalright just gain that versatility on a low budget. He was pretty bad in Uncharted.
Why do international theaters take way more than domestic?? I’ve tried googling it but can’t find a clear cut reason. Only thing I can guess is the cost of shipping but that might be outdated and of little relevance now?
I understand why you would turn down something like 1917. Despite war movies mostly being a success they're not exactly very uplifting or joyful movies to play in

I loved the Choas Walking books so my disappointment was immeasurable when the movie flopped.
the books are top tier, the movie overall sucked, not toms fault tho. the cast should have been younger, in the books theyre 13yos

He might have been fine, but both movies were awful.

Tom Holland ia financially independent. He doesn't have to work anymore. He can pick whatever role he chooses.
Well, he’s set to play Fred Astaire in a biopic, so that may be a boost for him.
He was in The Impossible with Naomi Watts but held his own as a dramatic actor as a child. It was a great movie
I loved chaos walking ❤ it was amazing
Right. More people should see it still!!
his acting was great in cherry
This stuff happens to literally every marvel actor they don't want to see the actors they only want to see their mcu characters
Tom started in Cherry and that’s NOT a blockbuster action film so idk why people say that he can only be that kinda actor
What do you know, may be there is a Parallel Universe where Tom Holland did 1917 and it bombed at the BO.
That’s actually so sad because I absolutely loved the books and they had extreme potential
Superhero films are the best because you can put any genre in it and still make it action packed, dramas are good only with chemistry
