Barry Sanders being in every 16 bit Madden game ever made is something, at least!
He was not in the very first, because Detroit was not represented. But every Madden game that had a year number attached to it (beginning with John Madden Football 92) had Barry.

It's pretty wild EA never added sox button support for the later Madden games on the Genesis. Having only three receivers to pass to really limits your offensive attack
First time watching your channel, so unsure if cameos by Starting Lineup figures are a regular thing. That being said... my prize Starting Lineup figure is Steeler flash-in-the-pan Barry Foster.
I feel the 1996 through 1997 super Nintendo and Sega genesis years or some of the strongest years that never get talked about as much as they should. For example, NBA hang Time is an incredible game on both super Nintendo and Sega genesis. But I came out late 1996 almost people were moving on by then I was still playing my super Nintendo and Sega genesis back in 1999!
Did this track win/loss user records? I wish these would play on switch. I tried Madden 08 on DS. Looks better on Sege Genesis.

Good video! And good review of Madden 98 for the Sega Genesis! I always liked Madden 97, but I will have to try out my copy Madden 98 sometime!
Madden 97 on PlayStation 1 was the best. Was able to use Deion on both sides of the ball and the man was unstoppable

I pity the people still buying Genesis games in late 97
PS1 was only 2 years old at that point. not too surprising people chugged along with their 16 bit consoles biding their time for 32 bit consoles to get cheaper
@@TVindustries5000 I chugged along with my super Nintendo from 1991 through 1996 and then I didn't buy any new SNES games because 96 was it lol

I already have a backlog I'm working through, and I think I already have the early NBA series slated to go next for a sports series, but I'll see if I have the entire NHL series (I think I do, but not sure) and try to slate that one after if I do.
