I think the new formation suits his game and you could see it in the latter part of the season when he was getting into dangerous positions he needs to be closer to goal He's not a deep lying midfielder he's a goal scoring midfielder so with 3 CBS there's more protection for him to go forward more regularly. Wenger will never sell him and I think we all know that.
Great player, Rambo...... he contributed a massive amount and was an extremely loyal servant to the club. It's a shame that he ended up leaving like that....

where is this Aaron Ramsey? he is clearly a top player but for the last 2 seasons have lost confidence...he doesn't belong in a deep midfield position he clearly has to play closer to the opposition goal... and it seems he's reluctant to shoot now....we see him get into good positions now since Wenger change the system but I hope he can get back to scoring goals because he's capable of 10/15 goals a season.
Two observations.Never forgive Shawcross for robbing the world of his best plusI think the signing of Ozil did Arsenal no favours that season as it disrupted a very promising Wilture/Ramsey midfield axis that was just starting to fire nicely.
