      Yes, meditation is to control mind. Mind is cause of this creation. Everything will be under control when mind is controlled. Happiness, love, compassion, health wealth prosperity will be in one's control. Nasti yogat param valam. No force superior than yoga. Meditation a part of it. Namaste.

      In the Quran, it says 'verily in the remembrance of the One true God do hearts find rest'.
      When Muslims pray 5 times a day, they are contemplating on what they are saying. The mind wonders, then bring it back. Some of the actions during prayer require the back to be straight.

    Excellent, excellent, excellent information about meditation. I have been meditating for 5 years but felt like I needed quality guidance and here it is! Just what I needed- especially regarding the incorporation of compassion into each session. Somehow I will find a way to support the Buddhist Monks who share this incredibly valuable wisdom.

    I like what he said about happiness "we expect a hit or a buzz". After meditating for a number of years, now I relate happiness to being content with 'what is' and not obsessed with past and future problematic thoughts or worries. Meditation has made me reach a consistent state of serenity, with some challenging moments dispersed over the time line. This is what I identify with happiness. So from my humble experience, to be happy is by letting go of what's out of my control. So whenever I am faced with an unpleasant or challenging situation, I remind my self 'I can only do what I can do' and 'I can not do any more'.

    As I dive deep into Meditation. One of many things I have come to find in my own truth is...
    Looking down causes thoughts of depression (left) and anxiety (right).
    Looking up shifts your thoughts into Inspiration and joy.

    • @ivanborisov7648
      @ivanborisov7648 5 лет назад +3

      Noticed the same about looking up. Clouds trees usually not human made makes me feel amazing

    • @cezannne61
      @cezannne61 5 лет назад +3

      I have noticed this, too! If I look down my mind thinks, solves problems, tackles problems ...it is working, more like output. Look up, especially to the right (for me) and I ponder, daydream or simple observe or notice. Look down again and I'm in thought again. Lol, think JD in Scrubs! I find I can actually use my eyes to change how my brain/mind works. However, there needs to be a moment of recognition before I can make that change. It's interesting, because if I decide to think or work, I have to look down. If I look up I am simply just too aware.

    “There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called yesterday and the other is called tomorrow. So today is the right day to love, believe, do and mostly live”. Dalai Lama
    Joy and happiness can be felt in the moment ONLY! Every time you exit the moment, you ditch any form of happiness. That’s bc happiness relies upon happenstances. Like, when this happens, I’ll be happy. Why are you postponing joy? Do what you love to do and joy will be its after effect. ✌❤🙏

    I’m grasping that happiness comes from a feeling of calm, inner peace which we achieve through meditation that helps us accept and choose how we respond to thoughts and not get tangled up in them, see them as separate from us being curious and observer of our thoughts and emotions

    Happiness comes from the ego, being pampered, whereas unhappiness comes from these conditionings (Superego) but it’s the Spirit, that gives us the joy, JOY is a singular!
    It was this talk (link at the bottom!) that talk was when me first, got my Self realisation, Self realisation is the starting point of reality! (The Only requirement is to have , an open heart and a pure desire, to achieving your second birth/Self realisation! ) I received a very strong ‘Cool breeze’ coming from the top of the head, the fontanelle bone area ( fontanelle is derived from Latin, meaning ‘small/little fountain’) which I came to realise was/is ‘The cool breeze of the Holy Ghost and is the ACTUALISATION of Baptism, the real BAPTISM! This IS the yoga/union with the divine, when our ATTENTION becomes enlightened by the Spirit, the Spirit comes into the attention and then we become dharmic, we become detached from this ‘matter’ and so thus we become the witness, the witness of this ego and these conditionings, and matter can dominate us, no more! In the Bible Christ said “Being IN the world, but not of it!”
    “We will never know the meaning of our lives, not until we are connected to the Power, that created us!” -Shree Mataji nirmala Devi

    I started meditating two years ago after having a complete meltdown with anxiety, depersonalization, depression, etc. Some how I managed to keep working through all that but felt completely out of my mind. I even worked a second job at night. Meditation has really helped and changed me for the good. I’ve had to deal with some tough emotions through my meditation practice. I even quit meditating for a couple weeks because I started having panic attacks while meditating. I started back my practice and I’m a lot better now but I still have a lot to work through. All answers I have found within. Meditation for 4 to 8 hours a day is normal. I have multidimensional awareness. This allows me to have nearly constant contact with myself in other dimensions. This seems to promote an understanding that I would not otherwise have. Often my viewpoint changes as I meditate. Peacefulness, compassion,and even unconditional love eventually happened.I still allow myself to feel frustration and even loudly express it if I so need or want. Of course I have much self control and do not burden the ear of the hearer.Solitude and isolation is an acceptable part. This allows no outside (way less) Influences. Only recently I purchased this computer(1.5years)as I became aware that the world around me was more and more out of balance.I will attempt to help,if I can.Most would think me extreme and that would be correct.......................I love all that is and all that is not......................lolly

      Do you meditate w your eyes closed? Do you use meditation as a way to create your reality?

    • @angelinvocon
      @angelinvocon 5 лет назад +2

      @@notnow7829 Yes, eyes closed for deep purposeful meditation.May I say here, how brilliant you are, for asking both pointed questions. It is obvious that you are a student and that you are following your destiny.( I am a seer .)(@gmail) I find when I travel out of body that I need to leave my body in a place and a position that is conducive to the deep , theta state, thus the closed eyes.Wow, I love this next question.Yes, meditating in theta is liken to a portal .It may be used to access the 4th dimension, where creation, in this dimension comes from. There are a certain amount of preparations to do on this side because of the two things that are happening in the 4th. One is creation of course, but the other is war.I know how to create ,as I created the house I'm in, but in order for me to create I must have the unconditional love and belief in me from a another human. I had that from a friend, as pair-bonding does not include the kind of love needed. That was in '98 and I have looked for or been open to finding another who is in balance with self, if even for a moment, as was the case previous.Does someone love you unconditionally?If so I can help you to create in the third dimension now.If no, you can at least get all the tools and be ready.You already know about projecting an outcome, I figure, but that is not creation.I love all that is and all that is yet to be.............................lolly

    It's a shame that during his session I've seen some folks playing with their phone. The purpose of the session is to focus and get all you need to get out of the session. If I'd find myself playing with my phone then I'm just wasting my own time. Even as I am writhing this comment, I am not focused on the moment getting all that I need from this session. Thank you so much for this session. One key thing I know about the mind is that it doesn't identify with the current present moment so it tends to pull us back into yesterday and or pushes us to the future. In both case they are just an illusion that is not real at the current moment.

    we are always in the moment, and thinking about your past or future, while being in the moment, it is okey, you past is part of you, and your future could be part of you as well, as long as you simplify everything, accept everything, don't try to reject anything, focus on your breathing without trying to focus on anything, not even the breathing, and completing relax. good luck.

    Thank you so much for your wonderful guidance . It is really nice to associate the compation into our daily meditation ,where you first have compation towards you and then spread it to others . Hope it is a kind of good marker to assess whether we have improved meditation or not. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

    modern day news is keeping us deliberately stressed to stop us from asking questions about what is been done to our world we never read any happy news these days either /unemployment / hunger / bad weather called global warming/ anticipation is always the best part of any situation

    Practicing gratitude is more important than empty minded meditation because it changes your brain’s focus on the positive and opens heart energy. Sitting in meditation wont change your behavior but practicing gratitude will
