Mount Vernon's Denzel Washington School of the Arts (Formerly the Performing and Visual Arts Magnet School) presented The Lion King Jr. This is a clip of the opening number "The Circle of Life." It features students in grades 6-9. Produced and Directed by Evelyn Collins. Music Directed by Alvin Waddles. Vocals Directed by Angela Hall. Choreography by Monica Johnson and Sam Reid.
