In civilized countries the police officer would be awaiting his day in court but in Kenya, the police station bosses are trying to facilitate a negotiation for one of their own to avoid prosecution. This is a crime.

Even the ipoa. Couldn't discuss "Margret's" case after having the full evidence in order to protect the inspector. Justice delayed is justice denied. The laws are always for the less fortunate and when injustice becomes law resistance becomes duty. Just take heart and bravo to your friend who decided to remain for you when others couldn't.
At least he confessed but I believe it was not his first time. This needs to be a lesson to other people in power.

I reported a case to IPOA a while back they too aren't that autonomous they develop cold feet if the accused is a high ranked police officer.
