Thanks for sharing the experience! How would you compare the Anfim SP2 to the Mythos 1 from Victoria Arduino? And noticed that you have the scale holder attached on the grinder, may I know where to buy it from?
Hi Artisti, We have the same setup at our shop, I think the combination of the scales, dosing cup and the little manual grind button on the side is amazing. Unfortunately I just noticed Anfim have discontinued this grinder. Do you have any other recommendations for a high volume grinder that has grind by weight or a scale platform that will grind straight in to a dosing cup?
We have this grinder at work. I am curious how I adjust the dosing to get a better coffee taste, as the weight and the grind technically are correct however it keeps pouring a slightly bitter tasting espresso shot? 🙂
@@ncz3 I don't work in a commercial coffee space, so I probably can't give a very meaningful reply :) the mythos is very popular here, and the ek, I guess because the machines are good, but also the distributor is doing a good job
We use the Anfim Scody II at our coffee shop and it's a work horse. We love it. It allowed us to stop worrying about the grind. For trying new coffees and for pour overs, we use an Eureka Mignon Oro Single Dose
That price is too much for me. Although a great grinder, i dont have the budget for it. Can you recommend a budget espresso grinder for coffee cart business that doesnt break the bank? Hehe I was thinking about ceado e35 (64mm), eureka specialita (55mm)
You can, it’s what we used to do, unfortunately all handles weight differently, now some companies have a matching set, however you need very large scales to have them sit on, it takes up more space, and you can’t grind a handle when it’s in the machine so the process is slower
@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters Maybe its good that being a Barista and that human doing things is part of the culture and experience and not too much automation. Barista variables seem a but tricky. It’ll be one hell of a challenge for a AI machine to work things out.
Yes, you can definitely grind directly into a container and weigh it. The purpose of filling one container and tipping it into another is usually for convenience or for a specific recipe that requires a specific amount of coffee. Thanks for bringing that up, it's an interesting discussion point!
This grinder is very suitable for high volume cafe, very durable, nice build quality, but relatively big amount retention, so it is not suitable for home usage or single dose grinder..
We used to use this and mohlkoing e80s in our busy cafe. And we all agreed we loved SP2 more.
Thanks for sharing the experience!

I believe that they are looking to add these options back into the next model.

Appreciate the video. You put the points across very clearly. The anfims aren't common here in Singapore so it's good hear your perspective.
Thank you. 🙏🏻 cheers luke

Does specialty coffee need a specific coffee machine and coffee grinder?
How do you know when to change the burrs?
Where can i find the scale attachment ?

Anything in the mazzer range would be bullet proof and they cheaper models, jolly or major models
@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters thank you so much
How can I get an Anfim SP2 in the Philippines?
Not sure, we are looking into this for you 👍🏻 cheers luke
Is there a reason the handle can’t be ground into directly and weighed? What’s the purpose of filling one container and tipping it into another.

Great video guys. These grinders have been lurkinng in the shadows for me
They may have to come into the light. 😂

'Theatre' 🤣 he's gone full blumenthal on us
Just another day in the life at Artisti! 😂 one day a full studio. 🤜🏻
Good day Guys
