I feel like this game was dumbed down for people new to the series. The devs probably did not trust the long time fans to remember what happened in the "plot” of the previous installments, due to half the time in the cutscenes was just characters explaining what was going on in the last game. I played this game without skipping anything and all I could think was, "yes I know, I saw that happen in that game, why explain it when we already saw it”
Know what I hated the most about the game. Bringing back EVERYONE who died or disappeared on the previous games kinda invalidates their whole tragic stories.
"At least I have KH2." And that is how I made my peace with KH3. It disappointed me to such an extent that I decided to label it as an alternate universe and declared KH2 the real ending of the series for me.
I really hate how useless Kairi and Aqua were in the game and how Axel literally became a comic relief character. Oh and no Final Fantasy at all? Like...really? They've been in every KH game right?
I paid $60 to beat the game in 5 days. KH2 took me weeks. That's playing every day after work and being single. I'm 33 married with two young kids now. Sigh.
This game was super disappointing. And the voice acting was so TERRIBLE. To new fans it might be good but for the rest of us who waited 12 years it was not worth it
I thought certain scenes were just somewhat awkward. Why do they need to exaggerate on the friendship power as it was the ultimate energy of the universe? I just think that KH2 is the best also because is more grounded. I really don't like how certain scenes reminds me a show for 5 year old children. Thing that I don't remember on KH2. Ok, it is a game with Disney worlds, I don't think scenes should be idiot though, with the power of heart and little lights over people's chests. Anyway, it seems that KH2 is the definitive KH game. All the mistery around Roxas, the search for Riku and Kairy around Disney worlds. The mistery around Ansem and Xeanorth without everyone being Xeanorth and things getting exaggerated. kH2 is grounded, the features present are just on point and not to say that there's more and it's bigger. I wish on next games they don't make certain things appear awkward but interesting as in KH2.
New video! DmC: Devil May Cry is Underrated --
I feel like KH1 was the ONLY game in the series where going through the Disney worlds made sense and it wasnt just 100% useless filler
Ironically, KH3's story feels rushed.
Its like the entire game is just one big avertisement for disney

I have chosen to believe that the series finished with the KH2 ending.
Technically you werent wrong about KH 3 only having 2 disney bosses because the titans arent part of KH3. They are part of KH 2.9

"The game should've been as good as a 14 year old PS2 game"
Xehanort: takes over terra's body. Ruins friendships. Ruins lives. Unleashed the heartless. Causes several worlds to fall into darkness. Kills kairi
IMO:
Fans: no ff characters? This game sucks.
KHIII is to Kingdom Hearts fans what season 8 is to Game of Thrones fans.
All of those spin-offs doomed Kingdom Hearts 3. They had to try to tie all of those stories into KH3, and it ended up being a convoluted mess.
