Advanced Mixing - Parallel Processing

  • Опубликовано: 6 июл 2024
  • In this video, I introduce 'Parallel Processing'. This technique gives you immense control over your effects and production, allowing you to create a separate mixer channel for your effects to blend back later.
I use a stock plugin called 'fruity send' to create a duplicate track, it's a really handy plugin which I'm sure you'll find many uses for :)
    ▶Effects include:
    - Parallel Drum Compression
    - 'New York' style compression
    - Reverb Sends
    - Delay Sends
    ▶Time Stamps:
    0:00 - Intro
    0:48 - Parallel Drum Compression
    5:10 - Guitar Parallel Effects

are you kidding me?? the ways in which you have allowed me to improve my production is incredible. I had been watching other production youtubers for years and they honestly all they do is talk way to much about random shit, talk down to anyone not as good as them and make everything unnecessarily complicated. Thank you so much !!!

Thank you so much! Nice and quick to the point with no rambling. I never knew what parallel processing was in mixing because no one would ever explain it cohesively. But after the video I went back and tried these techniques myself and it works wonders. The potential is limitless!

In the Mix/Michael, thank you so much for helping my music production. I’m finally getting skilled enough to actually know what you’re talking about. Whoever is reading this, I’m on a journey to build a following by making good music, bringing value, and supporting people. I’m not in it for the money, I’m in it to be a light in people’s lives, to create positive change. I can see myself raising money for charities consistently. I’m currently on year 2 producing. Come see what I got and watch the growth over the years. Supporting me would make my day.

this is a genius approach to mixing, i've just been stacking plugins in the mixers leading to muddy, sometimes overcompressed tinny results. the way you do it involves much less processing and allows plenty of extra room in the mix for the channel to sit, i appreciate you making a video about it so we can all learn to improve our production skills
