Omg the sound ! Coupled to the break when shifting it's a dream ! I have the new Valvetronic axel back exhaust on my 2009 E-92 M3 and I love it. It’s just the right kind of loud, and if you move the shift intensity up you get some pops and gurgles. And the down shifts sound soooo much better. I highly recommend this exhaust for E-9x owners. Nice video Ted!
I like my car louder not for the attention it brings, but because it's like music to me and I can't turn the volume knob up without other people hearing it too.
Here's a perfect way to start a perfect loud pov driving video, first ingredient, we'll start with French toast with maple on it! Second Coffee with some sugar maybe! Third An E92 with Valvetron Exhaust! All set!
Yay! New vid! Can you do some more snow driving in your m3? Those are my favorite (and the AMG GTR vid) I have seen all of them.... twice...😬! I need more 😂
@@TedwardDrives yay! Just saw your other heart and reply on my comment from a couple days ago! Sorry😂. Quick question! On a scale of 1-10, how much did you enjoy the AMG gtr when you filmed it?
I won't rate it but I will say it was WAY more fun than I expected. I'm still probably loyal to Porsche, but the GTR car really made me second guess the GT3 desires.
Its a m3 not a viper or Gtr. The engine is fine to start up at any weather for any amount of period. They designed it as a good daily car. My sisters had 170,000 miles on it. You just need to change the 10w oil when the light comes on. Once it comes on start to make a appointment with BMW ONLY. She went to jiffy lube one time and they put the wrong oil in. But went to bmw right after.
@@TedwardDrives but still viper and gtr engines are more for racing engines. and the gtr is twin turbo also. A na v8 is fine for anything, they even put it in trucks also.
@@davidpineda645 It doesn't sound like you've done zero research on the S65 engine in the M3. its a 4.0L V8 that revs to 8400rpm. It's as racecar as it gets until you get to a GT3. Normally I don't respond to comments like this but you're probably a nice guy who is just talking before knowing.
This exhaust definitely reminds me of a resonator deleted GT350 especially on that one on ramp. Low RPMs not so much, but definitely in the higher RPMs.

@@jvana9519 I chose autosolutions because I wanted a stock shift knob but with a more accurate and mechanical feel. You custom order them to your specifications. Hey Dwight! I had my 350z from 2009-2015 I think. That car was stock. I never modified anything other than putting on a set of the Rays track wheels from a higher trim. I just drove it hard and had fun.
I know what you mean about no catalytic converters. It's even worse with carburetors that don't atomize the fuel as well as fuel injection--my father's 62 thunderbird was fun to ride/drive in, but it reeked of fuel, and forcing fresh air in through those old vent windows was mandatory. I can only imagine what congested streets in the 60s smelled like. Also, do you use a different weight oil in your M3 during winter? I've seen a flow video of 10w60 vs. 5w20 at -20c, and it was shocking how viscous the 10w60 was. This isn't to say anything objective about efficacy at those temperatures, but I can see why some go thinner in winter.
Love your videos @tedward. I just ordered a set of apex arc-8s for my e92 M3 with 275/35/18 squared. Did you notice much of a difference in how that valvetronic car drives/handles vs. your e92?
It certainly handles differently but I can't speak to it since it was too cold for the tires. I couldn't push much further than half a G so any feedback would be speculative
I know, I’m in Stoneham, MA. It’s hard to get a feel for a different set up with cold rubber. It is amazing how well PS4S perform in the cold though. Did you notice any tramlining?
