Momos can be seen somewhat similar to Mandu, Gyozas, Jiaozi, (korean/Japanese/Chinese). Newar merchants brought the recipe & the name from Tibet where the Newar Merchants use to trade. They hv modified the dish with available ingredients, such as buffalo. The very word momo has it's origin in Tibetan nd no any other country.
As an Indian who visited Nepal 2 week ago,I would like to say it felt like I am in India,I didn't feel any change overthere, though I didn't go to central part of Nepal,But I liked the experience and the food was just amazing ❤❤, Temples over there are also very beautiful.
