AstrHori 55mm f5.6 & 75mm f4 For Fujifilm GFX 100S. Worth It?

When it comes to third part lenses for the Fujifilm GFX100S, not all lenses are created equal, but AstrHori Has given two viable options. the 55mm f5.6 and the 75mm f4. One is definitely my favourite of the two, but how do they perform? Check out my review to find out.

Regarding the diameter of the glass, may I ask…
A. Does the image circle cover the full sensor of the GGX body?
B. Are these lenses kind of like m-Mount lenses in a GGX size body?

Hi. Yes it does cover the entire sensor. This is some slight vignetting wide open at 5.6 but not anything to worry about.
I saw a review that said this. Being this is my first experience with AstrHori I can’t confirm this.

The 75mm f/4 is very interesting, because it's going to be really light.
I would like more f/2.8 primes, I think that's a sweet spot and they would be more versatile. I've done a lot of shoots with the GF 45mmm f/2.8 and If I would pick something else, it would not be an f/4 because there are enough f/4 to choose from in the fuji line, but as you said, price is also an important factor.

Yeah price wise I think this 75mm f4 is a good option to consider. I hear you on the 2.8. Perhaps we will see more options in the future

Haha two. Here and Geek Culture. You will find more photography based stuff here. I’ll do some things over there at times with cameras but this is where I’ll do more unique or high end gear
