@MGNG YT if your editing these videos you need to maybe put the effort into your own vids aswell 😅 Firing in the same spot depletes your ammo and effectively notifies the opposition when your out of ammo and in need of a reload making a lot easier for them to advance on you. Flank you while your firing, and advance on you when you stop aimlessly firing to reload because they know its safe at that point but if.you wanna justify depleting ammo then you do ypu kid. One day you'll be able to play in the big leagues

They are heavy trust I played when I was 13 in cppl (Canadian provincial paintball league) in division 2 we placed 2nd with our team we made wreckless in fall of 2013. Idk if it was cause I was young but I played snake and back corner like this when playing corner you are to supresss and call-out as much as you can basically shoot as much to keep them from peaking out. I remember having to bring 6 pods with me each weigh a good 10 pounds. And when having to keep shooting while reloading you can keep your eyes off where you are shooting so it's all muscle memory you cant view where you are about to open and dump the pod. The old pods were stupid hard to pop open so they would bust open by accident if you dived into a bunker or something... Had that happen alot. But yea this guy is a pro he does it sooooo quicky and smoothly while shooting over 20bps which is nuts. I had a quick feed and this exact hopper the first dye rotor version with a quick feed and invert mini with a long ass stifi with a super small stubby tank. I also had a nxe shocker I loved to use but it was so heavy. And on scenario days where we would have 200 players have a war using all the maps I'd just bring my old cci phantom pump gun with this red tiger electrolysis camo. It had a stupid long barrel and it was so light and accurate. I'd spend no money on paint and it would be so satisfying to just one tap ppl far away. Close areas though like buildings it was rough you had to play smart. I eventually got a tipx from tippmann as a sidearm to help that thing was so cool I remember clearing a 3 guys out of a building from behind sneaking up with it one scenario game. Then I got lit up after there teammates saw them all leave the building I think they told them I was in there

i mean to be fair, its not as bad as 90% ive seen on youtube, his reload isnt good or bad given the stress, also ive noticed that i too would care more about shooting at my target and winning a competition than dropping 10-20 balls of paint
I've seen so many paintball clips as of late and I still haven't been able to piece together what's going on. From 99% of the clips I've seen everyone spreads and assumes a stationary position partially behind cover, then they pelt paintballs down in a single direction, refill their paintball womb and continue firing. What.
While the majority of the team is suppressing the other team, you typically do have one or more of the faster guys on the team pushing up for flanking, but treat it like it's a real gunfight and you'll understand why the pace can slow down and it seems like they're not doing anything but training on one spot.

You’ve stumbled upon the proverbial kryptonite truly preventing paintball from going mainstream. There’s actually a lot going on, it’s very fast paced and complex, both mentally and physically. The pros have as much talent as any pro athlete, and in some ways more than many other sports would require because paintball is as much a brain game as it is a physical one. It’s not unlike a high speed, real time(not turn based) chess with guns, but you can’t clearly see where your opponent is on the board. Situational+strategic awareness, and communication is what wins games, the athletic side of it is just what allows that execution of the necessary moves. It’s not like baseball, where all you need to do is hit the most home runs to become a legend. In paintball, the legends of our sport are the guys who have a sixth sense for the game; we don’t even track player stats like other sports. All that is to say that there’s actually a lot going on, but you have to really understand the sport to watch it. There’s no single ball to follow on screen, no goal post to focus on, no focal point. If you don’t intimately understand how the game is played, it’s sort of like watching cars go in a circle in nascar and waiting for a crash. If you search NXL or GoSports, you can watch complete pro matches with commentary, if you’re genuinely curious about what’s actually happening in these RUclips shorts.

Only about 25% of it, but to be fair every paint ball player spills alot of paintball when reload, they not just gonna waste 5 or 6 seconds just to reload all of them and losting their match
A lot of people cracking jokes about shooting at one spot. What he's doing is locking down a lane with constant fire to restrict the enemies movement. My cousin was into paint ball and said they usually have 1 or 2 guys that just air in the back and pressure the enemy team so that they can't push up to flank their forward guys

This guy is laying down supressive fire, to deny an area to the enemy for a short period of time , it's unsuitable for prolonged area denial due to ammunition supply constraints.
the trick is to take cover and not shoot, within 2 minutes the opponents are out of ammo (maybe even less counting the ones they drop). Eventually go out and shoot as they will never be able to return fire

So when I was a kid I wanted to play paintball all the time, like it just seemed so cool. And when I finally played it was awesome. If it was anything like these pro videos tho I would have hated it, it's a metronome of paint balls, there may be skill involved sure but...they all seem like it's all about who can shoot the fastest. I love how, every time I watch a paint ball video, there's loads of people bitching about reloading, or shooting too much paint. Paintball is a very tactical game, and a BIG part of that, especially for the back players, is keeping the other team from shooting or moving freely, and preventing them gaining certain areas. All the time he's shooting, he's allowing his front players to move and win the game.
