- An interview with a man who experienced from outside the Bhagwanji/Gumnami Baba phenomenon. When Bhagwanji lived in Basti (for nearly a decade, 1965-74), this person was a kid. The house where he lived at that time was in a bad condition then and is in complete ruins now.
Apologies for the inexperienced and amateur videography.
It made me cry... Bha Rey Bharat!! The son who gave his entire life for the motherland had been treated in that way in his last days life... In India anyone can oppose any freedom fighter but no can dare to disrespect Netaji. My heart goes out out when I reab about his last days Life as Gumnami baba!! History will never forgive congress for this.

My eyes fills with tears everytime I hear how Netaji used to stay like the ones which is showed in this video. We can never forgive ourselves how we treated him.

I can understand, how much betrayed and bitter Netaji might have felt to have lived in disguise in his own country being the supreme leader. A man, who was supposed to live a life of hero in independant India, who deserves to be worshipped and honoured, led a life as this. We have been sinned. We have to check me out of it and recognise our national hero. We have to get our history corrected and give him the place he deserved.

It's true, my grandfather and tauji used to tell the stories about gumnami baba being netaji, he was living old city part, I don't remember exactly now but I think it was near Dakshin Darwaja.

During 1963 to 1966 Netajee was staying at Kateya, Behea, District Bhojpur, Bihar. He was staying at Guesthouse of the village Temple. He came daily to meet my father & his elder brother (my Uncle) in the afternoon at 4pm or at 11 in morning when he had to go to Behea for some purpose. We called him Sadhu Baba and he used to wear Saffron Dress & carried one Shantiniketan cotton Bag. He I was 7/8 year old at that time. One very morning he disappeared & we found the mark of Motor wheel in the dust of road.

If Netaji was quiet, there must be some strong reason for that. For a patriotic like Netaji, it was next to impossible to hide. The person who travelled from India to Germany and created an army in foreign soil, living in disguise is not possible. A strong willed and intelligent person like Netaji can't be hidden. Please don't disgrace Netaji by saying he was hiding himself as Gumnami baba.
I love Netaji a lot. Please don't disrespect him by saying Netaji was hiding. If at all he was hiding then it must his wish only. No one can force him to do anything. He is the bravest, most intelligent, most strategic freedom fighter. We need to give example of Netaji's bravery to our children rather than saying he was hiding. Netaji himself will curse us if we make a propaganda that he was hiding. Please respect him and fulfill his desire of India free of corruption.

If nehurs statement to be beleived that eye witness were that there was a plane crash causing Netaji's death, then why the eye witness of UP public will not be taken that gumnami Baba was netaji. Leave the forensic tests,what about the handwritting test which was conducted by dr. Kapur and American experts. The so called teeth may not be of gumnami Baba. The real fact will never come out ,in that case all the govt. Chair holder has to leave the G addi. If the Indian people watch the parlament speech of all MPs, no one utter a single word of Netaji.
