One of the best podcasts in the series. However i would slightly disagree on the point that he wasn't respected in bengal rather abused. Im from bengal and since childhood i have seen & felt 23rd Jan is as special as 15th Aug. Netaji is the most beloved, respected and prayed person over here. He is someone that each and every individual here proudly owns as their very own leader.
Our first and last hope is Modi ji.If he feels he can solve Netaji mystry.It is a big issue and Modi ji will face lot of problem.But he enjoy big challenges and he is capable of giving justice to our greatest leader Subhas Bose.No other person/party will not even dream about it.We the common Indian people can only appeal.

I first came to know about Anuj Dhar and Chandrachur Ghose’s work on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in 2012. I could never gather courage to read their books because even reading about him tears me up and I am still scared of the emotional turbulence that those books would cause in me.

In 70s and 80s, when I was a kid, our family was in touch with a Bengali saint in Ayodhya, Shri Sachchidānanda Das, popularly known as Bangālī Bābā claimed multiple times that Netaji is alive and they were in touch with each other. I never had this curiosity to take a deeper dive, then. Unfortunately, HH Bangālī Bābā is not in physical form at this moment. Coincidentally, Baba's guroo was friends with Rishi Aurobindo and Nandlal Sircar, all elite who's who of Bengal and freedom fighters.
