@@juventus6728 They didn't walk away They were made to walk away. After INA was tried to neutralize by British. Their was a revolt which started within the army. And slowly it was started to be seen in Navy and Airforce as well. And huge reason was that INA was formed by the Indians who went to fight for British in World War 2 and were captured by Japan and Britain made no efforts to save the captured Indian Soldiers. The revolt was going on when WW2 ended and economic depression started. So British in England were weak and couldn't help the ones here in India with anything from man to commodities. They still tried to keep India as much as possible because ofc it could exploit but the revolts were so much that they couldn't afford another hit after WW2.
@@dashmeetgrover8891 it was the fear of Netaji and the passion he ignited in the youngsters of that time made the British quit India in a "peaceful manner"

@@siddharthdoshi1703 an utter fiasco is going on here since the corrupt leadership from all the Political Parties (Sharifs, Bhuttos, Mullahs etc.) have joined hands to overthrow Imran Khan's Government which was doing a good job. Now that Khan is out of power, the new corrupt government cannot handle the situation and hence, pushing the country into economic crisis. Everyone over here wants elections as soon as possible but the government is being stubborn, because if there are elections, Imran Khan is going to come back with almost 2/3rd majority - He is the best option we have right now.
I am a senior citizen...l used to hear this from my father who would have been over 100 years now if lived. He was very much against Gandhi and his intentions. He used to call him the biggest hypocrite in Indian Politics. But l was so confused at that time as what l was studying in History Books in school would not match with what my father would say . Now it is clear to me. Thank you for arranging this type of programme. Will look forward for many more.
I also have the same feeling. When I started to think properly after my childhood stage I also started to think that 'it is not as true as we have been thought'.
We also grew up believing that Gandhi and Nehru were God,s gift to Indians. But with age and maturity , we realize that were British stooges who are directly responsible for the ills in India.
Yess mam my father was a militant who faught in world war for britishers !!! He always use to tell all these stories abt that naval incidence and abt gandhiji and I was surprised not those things mentioned in our history !!!!

Absolutely agree with u.. check out Abhijit Sir’s channel he doesn’t even say mahatma or add Ji to Gandhi.. he is brave n spot on with facts.. respecting Gandhi, Nehru n Jinhah in fear of losing subscribers is what Abhijit sir will never do.. calls spade a spade.. watch his video on Gandhi n his experiments.. lakhs of people died during partition, Mohpla Hindu massacre, direct action day, Kashmir’s article 370 their sins r too many.. they were agents of Britishers.. Ranveer should learn such things from Abhijit Sir..
Brilliant episode. Too much of our brutal history is concealed and altered. We should all be honest and real with ourselves to understand our past better, and to avoid repetition of errors and blunders that occurred in history. Respect for keeping things real here. This takes me back to my highschool...On my first day of highschool our principal asks like who gave us freedom...we all students collectively went like "Gandhiji"...And our Principal was like who told this what about those thousand of people who sacrificed their lives for the sake of freedom and also told us about the true history of freedom struggles...He always acknowledged people like Bhagath Singh,Shivaji.. Also our school had different houses named Shivaji, Netaji,Tilak and Bhagath

@@vedanthrao5879 oh. No problem. I understand where you are coming from. Patel was a good administrator and a strategist for our country. But he was weak when he had to take leadership. On the other hand Bose was a strong leader who took initiative. But he trusted the wrong people and chose the wrong allies. Both have their flaws. No one is perfect. I just feel we needed a leader like Patel back then who had a clean and clear vision for our country and had a plan. He even delegated well in areas that weren't his strong suit in terms of navigating the army and annexing princely states. He was good at giving people responsibilities and ensuring they followed suit. We had good people to take care of the day to day affairs. Patel had to oversee the entire operations which he was good at. He just wasn't great at demanding what he wanted and getting it for himself

I strongly believe in what Mr. Chavada said. Got answers to lots of my questions. I'm in Canada a very proud Indian. I believe that we all should come even more stronger together & get these changes in our history, in our texts forever so that the newer gen knows the right history.
If you are a proud Indian, why are you in Canada. Go back and work in India. If you have any reasons to why you won't go back then you are not a proud Indian, and so you should learn to assimilate to your new country.
Glad people have started talking about it. These truths were never told and now when you talk about it, you'll find people labelling you with different different name and make absolutely no sense when they counter you.
It was a great podcast . Let me add an extra bit of info, that why was the ottoman sultan back then was called "The Khalifa" which means the supreme leader of Muslims around the world. It was because back then the three Holiest places(Masjids) in the Islamic world Makkah(Masjid), Madinah(Masjid)& Jerusalem(Masjid) were under the rule of the Ottoman Empire. So they were the custodians of these three Places, that's why the ottoman sultan was called the Khalifa of the Muslim world during his time. That's the reason why Saudi Arabia's king is not called the caliph(Khalifa) because he does not have control of Jerusalem (Masjid).
Physical possession of all three masjids was not a precondition to become Khalifa. Because at the time of mongol invasion of Baghdad the abbasid khalif Al mustasim didn't have possession of all 3 masjids. Khalifa was a titular position who held supreme religious and temporal power of Islam and Muslim people all across world where all islamic states and Sultans used to pay homage as tributary to the Khalifa.
Ranveer sir you are doing a great job, there is not a single podcast I have missed, and mr. chavda should be more known amongst common people. There is no documented evidence to suggest that Mahatma Gandhi ever begged the British Empire to let him help in the war. Gandhi was a staunch advocate of nonviolence and actively opposed all forms of violence, including warfare. Throughout his life, Gandhi consistently promoted peaceful methods of resistance and social change, and he believed that violence only led to further suffering and destruction. While Gandhi did volunteer as a stretcher-bearer and driver of an ambulance corps during the Boer War in South Africa, his involvement was in providing humanitarian aid and medical assistance, rather than participating in combat or supporting war efforts. Gandhi's commitment to nonviolence and his belief in the power of peaceful protest remained consistent throughout his life, and there is no record of him seeking to support or participate in any armed conflicts.

Hey! I recently started watching your videos and I am hooked. I live in the USA and so, as an international supporter, I have downloaded the Level app. I am super excited to explore it. I have a request after watching this particular video. Can you ask Mr. Chavda and let know where to read Gandhiji’s original writings. I have a hard time trusting documents on the internet.

Thank you for this podcast. I'm student of class 12th of history and political science and your podcast is very helpful for me to develop my thoughts and thinking as well.
Hi Ranveer sir, I've gone through all of your historical podcasts and I'm very much thankful to you and the whole efforts of yours. I would request you to make a podcast along with Sir Ninand Bedekar whose a historian very well known for Maratha and ancient Indian kingdoms history. My best wishes with you for the upcoming future.
MAHATMA GANDHI IS A BRAND CREATED BY THE ALLIED POWERS, TO SHOW HOW FRIENDLY AND PEACEFUL THEY WERE, AND HOW AMICABLY THEY LIBERATED INDIANS WHOSE AMBASSADOR BEING GANDHI. That's why you wouldn't find a single country in the world where Gandhi is criticized. The opposite would have happened if Axis powers had won the war.
Bro you must read about GANDHIJI from sources you like but authentic sources you will know how great he was.. He was lawyer at that time and would have earned a lot and must have lived the life everyone dreams of today.. But he struggled not just for India but also against racism in Africa.. And wisdom is in books not in this people who are just spreading this narratives .. atleast Bhagavad Geeta padh le aur dhayn se samaj le jivan sudhar jayega...
My father was a teacher and he taught me exactly this history.. our history books must be revised to tell our next generation truth.. thank you so much for this video ❤

Hello Ranveer, I recently watched "The Tashkent Files" movie and it depicts at what scale we have done Injustice to Lal Bahadur Shashtri. Specially the ruling Party- Indira Gandhi at that time. How we have totally ignored how Shashtriji died? October 2 is Gandhiji's Birth date but it is of Lal Bahadur Shashtri's too. I apologize if you already have covered this topic before but I think you must arrange a session with relevant person who can shade some light on Shashtri's life, patriotism and death controversy. I think "Anuj Dhar" is for sure the best person in this regards.
Most people don’t really want the truth. They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth. These kind of Podcast will be the pillars for future generations to see a wide perspective of History. Awasome Ranveer keep doing these kind of Hard-hitting uncomfortable truthfull Podcasts.
My father was offered to be a histry teacher because of very gud credibly of teaching...but he refused to do do... because he was against teaching wrong histry to the pupils..

Another awesome podcast!! 49:10 Ranveer Bhaiya , please bring Anuj dhar on your podcast in regards to the death mystery of Netaji. PLEASE DO SO AND I BET ALL YOUR DOUBTS WILL BE CLEARED . I was searching for hate comments from some people atleast but to my surprise I rarely found one even after scrolling for 15mins, that shows people are aware about the reality and are open to accept the facts. Majority of our real history was so drastically erased and kept hidden from us.
Its not the real history , this person here is just selling a narrative either he do not know or wtever ,but he did not presented the real facts.Read books which tells factual history with dates facts & reason.Read spectrum books, rajiv ahir ,ram chandra guha, bipin chandra...There were no five star jails for anyone back then....Gandhi ji did not just became the centre the of indian politics overnight & he must have done something that everyone around the world started admiring him & still respect him. He was not perfect & nor did all of his actions, but he was not god that we expect him to hv done all the superhuman things,he did things & used methods which were best known to him, all others used theirs....for example bose choosed a different path which he felt was ryt thing to do at that moment....i dont understand why todays generation & media loves to judge their contribution without doing anything real for nation ourself... In real it was a cumulative result of all the efforts & sacrifices done by all of them & we should respect it. Period Regards Dr.Amit

In Africa - he lived for 21 years, made Indian community political strong there. Fought against several bills which were discriminating Indians in Africa, led for better amenities for Indians in Africa He was about to get killed by white mob in Africa at one time just because he championed cause of fellow Indians there He helped Indians there, fought against British there - is this considered service to British? What did his sevice to British Empire gave him? Him money?his kids some political throne? Plz tell the audience what did he recive in return? His grandson just recently few years back died in seculsion, many of his deacdensts are common man, middle class Bose,mn Roy,ras beahri Bose,Giani pritam singh,Raja Mahendra Singh - even never questioned the patriotism of Gandhi, even his biggest rival sarvakar and ambedkar never questioned his integrity. Please do us a favour get out this conspiracy and if no plz write a book with full methodology (you claim yourself a historian na?plz do it) This is just being ungrateful to the man,who single handlely has done more than most of us(including you) for the nations and the Indians 30:50 Gandhi has made the offer to Jinnah to be the pm of United India and form to the interim govt and he informed the same to viceroy linlithgow in 8 aug 1942, Jinnah's biographer Stanley wolpert says this too and the offer was made several times but Jinnah rejected it. In 1944 through CR formula - Gandhi proposed to achive independence jointly and then when the British leave, they can settle the issue of Pakistan with a pebliscite after the British leave but league refused this too. India was supposed to be independent in 1948 and gandhi was securing support from several leaders and parties (as many parties other than congress and league were stakeholders in this) for united India, there was a supposed fasting too but direct action happened dueti which indian independent was pre-poned to 1947,gandhi had to then move his attention towards the riots engulfed naokhali to stop the killings happening there. Chavdaji you need to update your information on this as you seem to think gandhi did not act on this, kindly read more on it. 31:35 - sir ye bhi aaphi hi assesment hai ki ye kahin likhit me proof hai ki ki congress ke kaido 5 star me rakha jata tha? All the flood relief campaigns, school built, securing rights for more political participation of Indians in governing India even when British were here, tax reduction campaigns? Who did all this? Apparently these both which supported partition and sow seeds for division are not responsible for partition?? But the parties which were forced to agree to demand of pakistan because of direct action day are responsible?? Why are you skipping direct action day which forced the partition on us and several talks, intiative to stop partition as that never happened?? is this how you see history with your own lens Also enlighten the viewers about Gandhi's plan(before assaination) to visit pak Punjab and other areas to forge better relation while reorganization of territories was happening? 36:12 - ranveer bhai, aap 1-2 hafto ki chhuti lekar saari ncert padho history ki pehle ,ye 8th class ki NCERT me cover hai - 1946 ki RIN mutiny 38:00 - chavda sir your skipping few very imp points and mixing things again. First of all gandhi didn't give any statements that - ki kya kar rahe ho?hume to non-violence se independence leni hai specifically on RIN mutiny RIN mutiny was majorly organised by 'ratings', most officers(Indians) in the royal indian Navy didn't support the mutiny Cabinet misson plan was ongoing behind the scenes as it was proposed in March 1946,RIN mutiny took place in Feb 1946.Both the events were going in parallel. Ratings were already compromised by army and royal British forces at Karachi, Calcutta only Bombay was the strong hold of the RIN. By 22 Feb the mutiny was already loosing traction as the British forces were breaking in and arresting ppl in hundreds. Sardar patel on 25 Feb made the rest of mutineers to put off the mutiny to avoid harsh consequences on them as the support and the mutiny had already was close to not succeeding. Gandhi on 3 March 1946 criticised the ratings for lack of organisation and prepared revolutionary party. Strike community was not clear about the independence in their charter of demands as most of the demands were about equal treatment in comparison to royal Navy. Leaders were watching this play out,who would the risk the proper transfer of power when it was going parallelly with these events? The major arms and big equipments were under British control, even indian officer sided with the British, without any leadership if the war breaks out between the forces, army stance still was not clear? Who would risk out losing out the war, reducing ones own bargaining power, killing the strength of our own forces when cabinet misson plan which was channelizing the transfer of power was taking place?risking this with 7-8 decades of independence struggle worth it? Chavdaji, why whitewashing events?let the audience know risk of war, losing out the war, power vaccum taking place due to this? Note, Gandhi supported to give away the money that was supposed to be splited in two newly formed nations during the partition , of which patel and ambedkar both apposed, according to them money should be divided 2-3 years later, so that we can have check on jinnah and other muslim league's politician

There is another perspective to it, Nehru ji was much younger than Patel ji. And if we would have lost our leader early it would have derailed our progress. Truth and reconciliation have their place. The poster child would be to take legal recourse against Britain and her activities, looting India and conspiring against India and partition of India. $43 trillion dollars was looted from Bharat. The British in conducting the first census, randomly assigned Indians to a similar European system which in time became the ossefied caste system. Caste comes from the Portuguese word kasta. India has varna and jati, yet India is hung with caste. They created episode after episode of famine leading to genoicide. Churchill knowingly, transported grain out of India to other countries where it was not even needed, whilst thousands of Indians were dying. Countries like US and Australia offered aid and grain, but Churchill denied any assistance - let them die. Remember those skeletal images of Indians forever burnt into your memory? It was so bad Starving Indians were eating grass. All Churchill could say was beastly Indians, I hate Indians. Demand that Britain return $43 trillion, the kohinoor, and what's in their museums. In British history, Churchill is whitewshed as a hero. Not the supremist and racist he clearly proved himself to be.Have courage to google and read for yourself.

And there’s another interesting story about him in which Jinnah had formerly asked Nehru to come back to Bombay as his house in Malabar hill was very dear to him.

Also our school had different houses named Shivaji, Netaji,Tilak and Bhagath
Gandhi indeed had immense contribution in freedom movement

It's true freedom movement was a big movement involving crores of people with many organisations involved in it - ghadrites, East Asian contingent of ras behari Bose, anshulan samiti and neither of them gave us freedom alone

Gandhi has made the offer to Jinnah to be the pm of United India and form to the interim govt and he informed the same to viceroy linlithgow in 8 aug 1942, Jinnah's biographer Stanley wolpert says this too and the offer was made several times but Jinnah rejected it.

38:00 - chavda sir your skipping few very imp points and mixing things again.
First of all gandhi didn't give any statements that - ki kya kar rahe ho?hume to non-violence se independence leni hai specifically on RIN mutiny
RIN mutiny was majorly organised by 'ratings', most officers(Indians) in the royal indian Navy didn't support the mutiny
Cabinet misson plan was ongoing behind the scenes as it was proposed in March 1946,RIN mutiny took place in Feb 1946.Both the events were going in parallel.
Let the audience know about the Congo civil wars- which happened in similar fashion.
Sir you particularly has something deep hatred for gandhi,as you accuse others of whitewashing facts but you do the same.

Glad people have started talking about it. These truths were never told and now when you talk about it, you'll find people labelling you with different different name and make absolutely no sense when they counter you.
Being a history enthusiast 🦚... This podcast is ice upon cake ❤
Thanks for this info bro
Physical possession of all three masjids was not a precondition to become Khalifa. Because at the time of mongol invasion of Baghdad the abbasid khalif Al mustasim didn't have possession of all 3 masjids. Khalifa was a titular position who held supreme religious and temporal power of Islam and Muslim people all across world where all islamic states and Sultans used to pay homage as tributary to the Khalifa.

Don't believe these liar find truth about man who himself follow the path of truth. Mr. Jinna haven't written a single book on anything. As a Sawarite I like to tell you that daughter of Subhash Chandra Bose knows better about him than anybody else. Read her writing & then believe.
@SarangPani why brother do you really think gandhi has done khilafat movements..

Who was your teacher? And i think you were one of the numb student of your class who never questioned their teacher? I wish you had read your book well... Jise ye nahi pata khilafat ka khalifa se kya samband hai.

2.about Gandhi and jinna
3.the Navy struggle of 1946 which I had never heard about
And the most important
That the "Plane" Of 'Subhash Chandra Bose ' was not crashed
I suggest you watch the bengali movie 'Gumnami' if you are interested in the story of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
Plz clarify i thought the revolt of 1946 by army was because of the INA soldiers prosecution?
@@SudeeptoRoy10 there were Revolt in British-army , Navy & Airforce in 1946 . This caused Colonials to leave India , but before that they Partitioned India to take Revenge !
That is true ...but if u search further ...the main cause of revolt was that the INA soldiers who were captured were being tortured by the british ..thats y the indian soldiers especially the Navy started protesting

"I think the British liked Nehru more than Mr. Patel"
Gave chills down my spine!!!
That's why agent gandhi did his job making him the pm
There is another perspective to it, Nehru ji was much younger than Patel ji. And if we would have lost our leader early it would have derailed our progress. @@ratansinghbaghel3970 yeah it's true people are driven by ideology, but for everyone to become historians just to know what is the exact truth (which may even be near to impossible) it's better to follow one ideology that seems more convincing and supports your intrest.

Just a small correction, Jinnah wasn’t the first prime minister of Pakistan, it was liaquat Ali khan. And there’s another interesting story about him in which Jinnah had formerly asked Nehru to come back to Bombay as his house in Malabar hill was very dear to him.
