Wow. I LOVE that Joel called her out on not watching the show. He was so spot on to notice that she had no clue. This makes me like him even more.
Got into "Community" late and am binging it right now. Love the show! Gillian Jacobs is the main reason I even gave it a chance. Love her.
Same with me , I would always hear about it but never had an interest in watching it besides 🤔 my that Blonde chick is cute . Then I saw Ibiza and a year later decided to watch it because Gillian was in it and I was bored. Gillian is so Beautiful but by the end of season 1 I fell Inlove with the show and proceeded to fall Inlove with Annie , i watched all 6 seasons just for The Annie, Jeff will they won’t they! =(

Which do we think is worse, the interviewer, the choice of background or the camera angle? These two superb comic actors are so forthcoming and proffessional, and deserve so much better. For shame.

community is one of the best shows I've ever watched. the writing, directing, delivery of the jokes- it's such high quality. best cast, too! I love how interactive they are with the fans on twitter and are all genuinely funny and loving people.
Alison Brie's cuteness is spectacular, it's like a broadway musical, or a Hollywood blockbuster. But Gillian's cuteness seems more... natural. I love her expression at 14:00. She's adorable.
There is something very attractive about her.
Both girls are beautiful inside out. That's what I see. Love them both.
Man, I love how unforgiving Joel is to the reporter who can't name a single episode or scene from the show.
So glad that the show is on Netflix now! When they were talking about the future of television and how fans don't watch on cable tv, it just shows how community was streets ahead and would have thrived if it airs in this era of tv. #sixseasonsandamovie
They were really spot on about 2021, all those years ago.
Gillian does make very good eye contact, so much, that people mistake for her flirting, but it's just she's very polite and give you her full attention.
Joel McHale is hilarious, and the soup is so funny. Gillian Jacobs, man, even if Community sucked, (which it doesn't, it's awesome) I'd still watch it for her, she's so gorgeous, it blows my mind.

I have to put a pin in the rest of this interview - don't have time to see the whole thing right now. Let me just say, that I love this show, as well as the entire cast. They are so funny and so talented - It's mind boggling. I just recently discovered this show in fact. I was sorry to hear that they canceled it after the fifth season. But I have heard that they are going to stream line it for another season. So, I'm really glad to hear that. And I love Gillian, by the way. I've got a big crush on her !

I love this show and i live in the UK theres like no actual way i can watch this on TV because i have no info on channel and times... i watched every single episode season 1 episode 1 to season 4 episode 8 in 1 day....

@starvinghope Please note that this is not an interview by TV Equals only. We were invited to a press event for different series that included a lot of different outlets asking questions, including this interview for Community.
Also it's not an unusual thing for people to walk in and out, these are mostly PR people handling the event and talent.
The law and order episode was THE FUNNIEST!

I couldn't help but laugh when she said I hope some of the hardcore fans are forcing people around them to watch, because it's exactly what I do, for Community, for New Girl, but we can only do so much when we're not in America, it's really stupid of them not to count the rest of the world because in France, and many other countries I gathered, we really love this show...

What awful rude interviewers. Edging towards the door before it was finished. Asking stupid questions and answering the phone. Fair enough if you haven't seen the show and you are just asked to interview but at lease do some research and not be so disrespectful to people who have put 3 years of their careers into something they clearly take pride in. Jesus tbh they were actually very polite and these interviewers got off easy!

I am from Australia and I am a huge fan. In fact, There's a huge fan base here. The problem is not everyone can watch it on TV if we don't have a digital signal so a lot of us have to download it. I would gladly add to ratings if I could watch it on the NBC website but they have region limitations so I can't watch it. It's stuff like that that ruins it. It's only based on an American fan base and it doesn't always represent the general fan base.

from episode 1 of season 1 to episode 8 of season 4 = 79episodes
without commercials (online) the average time per episode = 22minutes
22min x 79 = 1738min
1738min / 60 = 28.97 hours
28.97h > 24.00h
Therefore, IF you watched all those episodes in 1 sitting you most certainly took more than one day. I was quite generous in my calculations by not including the time it would take to download/stream each episode. You, sir, are from a much darker timeline than my own.

it sucks coz where i'm from, which is australia, the show is incredibly popular and wouldn't be struggling in the ratings if they monitored international viewership and if hulu would open up to the rest of the world.

well the thing with TV ratings is that it doesn't take into account the millions of young adults (their main audience) who watch online. i don't watch any TV when it's actually on, i Tivo EVERYTHING.
Even off-set, these two fit together like a married couple.

I find it so frustrating, because I live in Australia, and community is only on irregularly on one of the crappy digital stations, and people never know when it is on. Myself and almost every person I meet my age has not only seen this show, but consider it one of their absolute favourites. If it was on primetime television, it's ratings would go through the roof! ...Instead Glee gets to be on at primetime twice a week and most of the time they are repeats...
that makes me feel bad for watchin it online but I live in Jordan and they don't air it here anymore so I kinda have to .sorry :'(

its aired on comedy central bro, plus is it really that big if it wasnt being aired, which it is??
PR People are not "handling the event" if they are in the frame, walking in and out, and generally disrupting the interview. If you're going to have a press event where people are going to be coming and going constantly, don't record the interviewees right in front of the door. Some random guy on youtube shouldn't have to tell you how to maintain a professional setting. There is a huge conference with almost the whole cast here on youtube and nobody is walking back and forth.
