  • The small RC version of the Claas Xerions has all the functions that the original has and is fully motorized. All functions are realized by 8 LEGO motors. The MKII+ Version has some major improvements over the MKII version such as an improved rear lifting mechanism and an improved cab turning mechanism. And some one more motor powering an pneumatic compressor.

The Claas Xerion 5000 Trac VC is a system tractor from Claas. It belongs to the third generation of the Xerion and has a six-cylinder Mercedes Benz engine with 520PS (382KW) and 12809 cm³ displacement. The power is transmitted to all 4 wheels by a continuously variable transmission with 8 stages and hydrostatic-mechanical power split from ZF. The chassis is held together by a screwed frame on which the two axles, which can be controlled individually, in opposite directions or in the same direction, are suspended. The special feature of the "Trac VC" variant is that the centrally mounted cabin can be rotated by 180 °, so that the Xerion Reverse offers new applications with great comfort. Another thought: weighted flywheels to the cutter blade axles.

Well done! Amazing! I do have some ideas. Add small razor blades to the props and it will cut grass for real. Also, it might be a good idea to add some wheels to the ends of the cutting decks to support them. What is the range of the remote control signal?

Hello, thank you really much for your support.
The razor blades might sound really cool, but they are to dangerous for this, because it's just a toy, also the props are able to spin freely on the axles to allow a movement on all other props if one in blocked. The idea with the wheels is really good, thanks, I will keep it in mind.
The remote range is limited by Bluetooth, so I will give it a solid 20 meters without any input lag or errors. The Company that makes these Buwizz units advertises about 100 meters, but I can neither confirm nor refute that.
Btw. sorry for that late reply.
