To be a bit more technically correct "Fastest Lego Chassis Car". (Given the limitations of the motors and stock servos available under the brand.) But it's still a neat build.
Thank you! It means a lot to hear that from you! Your edit flow is magic: You are a genius at YT retention. Your style kinda reminds me of Mr. Beast but with LEGO. I'm trying my best with it. I hope to improve over time...
Great work! What may help with stability: Increasing toe-in (maybe a half-stud offset on the rack?), positive caster angle on the front axle and maybe even adding negative camber. This may require a fair bit of re-engineering of the suspension components, also consequently adding weight and complexity to the setup.
@@bloodontheblade7988 i like straight people that tell on them heart without filters or shame, but man... Here are some tips, Make the bottom of the car as flat as possible, and add plates between the wheelbase, and also design some aero like a front and rear spoiler for more stablization in high speeds, i would also reccomend using some spacers to lower the car further to cause less drag
Woow!! I love LEGO but have never bought a LEGO remote control car. Can you recommend a model to start with? I would like to buy a model that I can then upgrade over time. Thanks a lot in advance for your advice. Marco
There are some downsides though: putting motors on the suspension means increase to the unspung mass. Since this vehicle does not have dampeners (shock absorbers) on the suspension, only springs, it is susceptible to dramatic suspension failures. Adding dampeners will help performance by keeping the suspension more predictable and improving ground contact which is essential for both the drive and steering wheels. I also predict that some PID tuning on the steering stability system could help as well. He glossed over that part of the build, but it's very important and getting the values right for high speeds will enable better operation. Overall great work for a v1. Love to see a second attempt taking learning from this model.
Those sexy CGI construction effects tho...dayum! nice. Also doing this as a hub motor build was super cool. Keep this up and you'll be the guy everyone watches.
I think so but if you want to go fast, they won't have enough precision, speed and strenght. It's cheaper and better to go for a third party servo that is already compatible with your reciever (most are standard)
Really nice job mate. This location so much beautiful, and at the same time quite difficult for such a speed record. Byt the way, your voice sounds great. ;)
It's ok to use non-lego part like motor/receiver. But I can't accept this because you don't use any lego gear. So in this time this is just normal fast RC car which use lego chassis and wheel.

You could at least add some aerodynamics components. To relieve pressure on front, smooth air flow alongside the car and cut the stream at the end or add some aerodynamic shape for downforce. It would help against rough surface. Also you could make side aero for airflow to stabilize the vehicle from sides from wiggling. Yeah, downforce limits top speed, but in this case stability of vehicle is more determining factor for setting top speed if vehicle isn't even able to be stable. I guess you know these things, I just wanted to share my opinion.

The gt3-c is an amazing remote. You can hack the crap out of it and it looks futuristic. It’s too bad it’s no longer compatible with Rx. Btw don’t do this, you’re spinning the axles so fast that it destroys the axle hole. You can use lithium grease, but it only goes so far, and it’s so viscous that it causes resistance.
