The more I play this game, the more I realize how much hate the genie. I mean COME ON, actual genies give three wishes. This guy’s just like “You get one wish, and I’ll only give you what you really want if hand over ALL your hard-earned money.” He doesn’t even need it to pay for construction or anything, he’s MAGIC!!! Money shouldn’t even be requirement for him when he could just conjure it up! I love this game but the genie kinda sucks when you really think about it. Then again, maybe he’s getting back at Wario for kicking his ass?🤔 Still hate him though.

Well, wario isnt exactly kind, like, if the genie was with mario he'd probably give mario a wish for free.
@@dylanzlol7293That’s a fair point but at the same time; if Mario contacted the genie and he was bias towards Mario, he’d get a free wish or one that three he’d pay for, (assuming the genie either holding out on Mario/Wario or greedy for money). But then again, Mario would probably only get either three wishes or a free one because he didn’t have to fight him like Wario did, but that’s just my theory.🤔 Either way, it still supports my point that the genie is an asshole. Also, while Wario can be a rude person, he never really asked for more wishes in the first place (assuming that genie rules are like the Fairly OddParents where the genie’s master could ask for more wishes).

I always wondered if this planet was the one all the warioware games take place. It would explain why the town he lives in seems so much differentt than any place in the mushroom kingdom.
I must have played this dozens, if not over a hundred times as a kid. It was one my absolute favourites on the original grey brick Gameboy, but I never got the planet ending, and usually ended up at the fortress ending. Must have been missing a treasure or two!
There's one treasure in an invisible door behind a waterfall, was missing that one for the longest time. It only gives you the moon if you have every treasure.
You must get the max total of coins to get the planet ending a guy on RUclips has done it

It's weird that only Virtual Boy Wario Land did this sort of thing, give you different endings based on how much money you collected. You'd think that'd be a staple of the Wario Land games given his greed. Later games are more about collecting specific treasures than accumulating wealth. Heck, even Luigi's Mansion did that whole "different ending depending on how much money you collected" thing after Wario stopped doing it, like, is that weird to you? Because it's kind of weird to me.
...Also, I kind of wish the Genie (named Denpū in Japan) showed up again after this. At least Captain Syrup made more appearances after this game.
nintendo has a habit of half assing things. look at pokemon and how they introduce new things people like, then take it out in the next game as if it never existed(like pokemon following you, megas).

Maybe because it's not rewarding to see a bad ending even after beating the final boss.
Wario Land 4 also had those multiple endings depending on how many treasures you managed to save from the bosses (and final one).
@@ikagura Well again, that's about collecting specific treasures than collecting as much money as possible, and even then, treasures were received depending on how quickly you beat bosses.

And both Canon endings don't involve the best one. Wario has a castle in Warioland 2 while in
Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, Luigi lives in the Rank D house.

No, it's not possible because you're automatically given 300 coins for beating the final boss for some reason.

What happens if you get under 300 coins?
You can't get under 300 coins because you automatically get 300 coins when you beat the final boss.
I think those 300 coins are the reward that Mario gives for recovering Peach's statue
