  • Today I am going to show you one of the best variations to play against the very solid Caro-Kann Defense. In this video you will learn all the important theory in the Exchange variation of the Caro-Kann!
    Exchange variation starts after the moves 1. e4 c6 2. d4 d5 3. exd5!
This move 3.exd5 is known as the exchange variation. This line against the Caro-Kann is one of the most playable options white has when facing 1...c6 on the first move of the chess game!
There is quite a lot of theory in this variation, but once you know how to play the positions arasing from this line you will love to play this very slow and positional game!
Make sure to watch the video until the end to see all the theory in the Exchange Variation of the
    Caro-Kann Defense!
