Big waves are extremely dangerous. Even a small wave can easily sweep you away. Don't go anywhere near the sea during storms. Wait for the storm to subside. Do not go near big waves, even after storms, even if you know the area. Use a good zoom lens to take photos from hundreds of yards away. Obey coastguard advice. Stay back, stay high, stay dry, stay safe. Stay alive.
