to anyone thinking of doing the same... the edge can often be an overhang, also limestone can be brittle, the wind and frost action makes it crumbly... rockfalls are common enough, so stay away from edge. An extra centimeter of ocean view in the selfie is not worth dying for.
Ireland was by far the best trip I have ever been on. And to the people who say it's not terrifying, if only you saw it in real life. The wind is strong enough to blow you over the edge.
I got shown a way down to the bottom of the cliffs by a local about 25 years ago. Unreal experience. Must go back again and see if I can find the way down.
I disliked only because they were sitting at the edge of the cliff. If you guys reading this 7 years later though never do this ever again in any place of the world. Just visited this place today i know how scary it is. May God bless every single soul.
Been to the cliffs. Depending on where you are your one step from death. All you need is a stumble, gust of wind or ground giving weigh underneath you and game over. The cliffs are a beautiful sight to see viewed with respect. Gravity is turned on.
This is very stupid guys come on. There is no need to risk your life like that for clout. Please dont encourage others to do this. There are gusts of wind that WILL blow someone off the edge one day.
LOL! PURE MADNESS! This officially cancelled my trip to Ireland. Cliffs of Moher was my number one motivation. NOPE! Not with 15 kids. Maybe another year with just me and my husband. LOL. I was scared just watching.
These stupid are sitting on a way which is closed by government There are fenced wall for tourist and it’s absolutely safe if you follow the government rules.
While me and my family were at the cliffs people were doing this yet no one owns that part of the cliff so theres no rules there but anyway we saw people doing this and we couldn't look I was cringing so bad
Pure stupidity to get right to the edge like that. When I went I stayed well away from the edge, too risky.
The wind is so unpredictable there. I agree with you.

Multiple people have fallen off the edge of the cliffs to their deaths on accident.
You're not supposed to go to the edge.
@Wildlife Warrior They hear the siren's call.
@Wildlife Warrior No, from down below. There are Greek mythological creatures down there.

I've just been here today (at the time of writing), and there is a lot more protection now from the cliff edge.

15?!! Damn...also there is plenty more to see than cliffs
I went on a boat past it
Shattered. Came all the way from Australia and it was a total foggy & rainy mess.
That's a shame. We got there it was foggy but the fog cleared after 30 mins.
Just a quick question what time of year did you come here
I drive past it regularly, sometimes I don't realise what's at my doorstep.
Hopefully you'll get the chance to come over again 👍

The cliffs in fog and rain are an experience on its own! Be proud you saw them like that:)
No this isn't the 'most terrifying video of the cliffs'. A little exaggerated by the author. The poor thang looking for attention me thinks.
Buy a Gimbal!!
uhh yeah... real terrifying you mook..
Vile Ogre you've obviously never been.
Then why don’t you book a trip to here. Sit right on the edge of the cliff
While me and my family were at the cliffs people were doing this yet no one owns that part of the cliff so theres no rules there but anyway we saw people doing this and we couldn't look I was cringing so bad
Absolute stupidity
The cliffs aren't terrifying. Except for tourists who risk their lives for clicks on RUclips
This was TERRIFYING
Yeah looks very terrifying doesn't it 🤦♂️
