I've had this fan for 2 years, back then it was only $49. Used in a food truck, kitchen, camping, working outside, grilling, cookouts, and contractor work outside. It's home is mounted to the ceiling of the garage for air flow when working on the cars. Works awesome! Have had to disassemble it and clean the grates and blades because of dirt and grime.

Sounds like they work well and for long time. I am glad you enjoy them. Here they help me cool the hot Florida days in the garage and do a great job. Thanks

It has a sealed motor you can spray it down with a water hose. That's what I do with mine.

I've had 6 of these i put up at our warehouse at work for over 3 years getting used hard 6 months of the year on high. They were 48 dollars then too. They are great, dependable work horses for the price.

Put 2 in my paint booth work great and has sealed motor that makes it explosion proof clears my 14 x 24 foot Booth in 2 minutes

That is a good idea. They do blow a lot of volume. I painted my car in the garage and used some cheap fans that didn't work too well. Then I replaced with a Rigid blower and wow it worked perfect. I did build a cardboard box with 3 filters on it. since the blower has a low profile exhaust outlet you can use on the garage door and its not so noticeable.

@@ExtremDIY funny l did the same thing with a Ridgid air mover fan but was nothing like the hyper tough and was really worried about explosion with any opened motored fan,, I mounted 2 down low with filters

Had mine about 2 years or more, run it non stop day and night, hot in arizona, even in winter at times, only turn it off when I leave or it's below 60. Air flow has slowed even with cleaning, may be oil needs replacing I don't know, don't have the tools to check the motor and everything. Think it's just needing oil but still runs pretty good.

Its a very powerful fan but can overheat sometimes from some of the feedback. Glad its worked out for you. What I do is buy the extended warranty from Walmart just in case.

I picked one up from a yard sale for $8. It needed a new speed selector switch which i got off amazon fir about $12 dollars. The fan really moves air but I noticed the motor gets very hot. Unlike other high velocity fans i own.

Hi I just purchased this exact fan for an outside kennel. On low speed it works great. My one concern is the motor housing gets hot. Is this normal? A safety issue? So far I only run it for 2 hours. Any help is appreciated.

Hello it does get hot since its sealed. I have seen some people complain about the heat that it puts out. Mine gets hot also but I believe its going to run a bit hot. If it starts making any noise or smoke definitely turn off and return to store. Hope it helps. Thank you

Hello usually fans have a thermo protectorr for overheating. I dont see an issue with leaving on low. Do you have a way of checking the temperature on the different levels.
