Looks very similar to the Commercial Electric and Maxx Air fans at Home Depot for about the same price. But to do a real comparison you need to put a Kill-O-Watt meter on the fans and use an anemometer ($15 on the jungle site) for objective measurements.
Niether of these two have any holes in the base. To mount it to a wall takes a single hook that would allow the base to sit flush on the wall. The fan can be rotated up 90° to blow straight out from the wall. The Mainstay offers more adjustment angle in this application (past 90°).
Could I install misters to these fans that would "reliably" spray vegetable oil on the contestants of a bikini tickle fight and oil wrestling event we're having to raise money for charity.
For sure these two at least come from China, but they do perform differently. I might get another brand sometime (when on sale...) for more comparison. Thanks for watching.
Fair comparison.
Just what I need. The 20” HF is one sale for $39.99 now.
Yes $39.99 this week :) (thru 8/17/23 with coupon)
Yea about to go one now
I missed it 😔
Bummer - it will probably be on sale again someday...
Nothing compares to older fans I have a bonch of older high velocity fans like Lakewood and patton
Thanks for the info!

Good points.
Nice review! I’ll be picking up the HF one for my garage.
Thanks
Cool, I think they were still on sale.
Kool, Thanks for the info
thank you for this video 💯💯💯
Glad to do it. Thanks for watching. Note that I've added another version with more data.
It doesn’t come with a mount though?

I just bought a hypertough fan from walmart 7000 cfm and it does come with a mount
Both of these would mount the same way as the Hypertough, but the hook is not provided.

Anything can be attempted, but no guarentee on the result. Try at your own risk. You may want a stronger fan. ruclips.net/video/uni_iNQwGus/видео.html
"I'll Do iiiiiiittt!!!!!
If that was tried here in Phoenix, the contestants would be cooked.
Do it bot..
Clean the blades on the main stay. Clean blades blow more air.
I think the blades were pretty clean on the Mainstay, but do agree that dirty blades will affect performance. Thanks for watching.
I guess it just comes down to which factory made these in China.

Harbor freight fan is actually made in Vietnam and with a coupon you can get it for 39.99
@@rickyt6343 the Viet Cong are very friendly bunch, like Thais. Unlike, the enemy communist China.
@@rickyt6343 Interesting, I couldn't find the origin on the fan, and didn't have the box anymore. So I admit, I assumed China. Thanks.
