They tried to raise price of hotdog because it's at least four dollars less than what they should charge for it. The CEO of Costco said I will kill you if you raise price and the price hasn't been raised since. Lol
Lolol, I love that the toy that Wolfy picks is a vacuum cleaner. 😆 So cute! ❤
P.S. Brilliant marketing, Dyson! 👏👏👏
Wolfy's becoming such a good helper! Speaking of, have you been watching 'Old Enough' (Hajimete no Otsukai) on Netflix? 😄
Bro get someone to get you to a military base and get some ribs for 9 bucks.
I feel like going to Costco in Japan is a big adventure while at LA, it's only 5 minute drive so it is a mundane trip, even going to buy some eggs and get gas for the car so definitely not too exciting haha. But thank you for a fun look inside the Japan's Costco, have a great weekend :D
5 minutes in what universe? Lol.
@@josephchan7040 I live in LA County and mine is a 5min drive away, I think I'm just lucky. There are quite a few in Greater LA area but average is probably 15-20 mins
Yeah, 5 minutes to get there. It's looking for parking that will kill you.
@@josephchan7040 I live in Houston and my nearest Costco is like 7 mins away lol
Same, live in Glasgow and it’s about 5mins away
hearing Wolfy say ¨WOW!!!¨after Maiko revealed the cheese pizza is so adorable!!! 🥰❤️🥰🍕
"I'm always looking at the positive"
"... I'm always looking at the facts"
😂 Spoken like a mom and a dad
And their faces!
OH my heart!! Thank you for sharing your trip - you say Wolfy's a squirrely kid, but he's incredibly curious and intelligent - his mommy and daddy clearly talk to him a lot and provide him with high quality stimulation. He's getting so many words!
Costco is an amazing business. Aside from delivering quality and variety they have great employees and are very customer oriented. In the US, among nationwide retail businesses, I put Costco and Trader Joe's in a class by themselves.
i just came across this channel yesterday and i'm in love. you guys are such a lovely family, i love how you share your ups and downs as parents of a precious little boy. thank you. it makes my heart melt every time. i wish you only the best for the future ! thank you for everything
Thank you I really enjoyed watching you and your sweet little baby boy
All new adventures for Wolfy. He'll get used to it, in time. You guy's are great parents. Stay safe.
I am amazed that Costco is there considering the deals are usually bulk sizes. From your other videos about space it seems like they would go against each other. Used to live in an apartment but we had a rented garage on site that we put a freezer in to make the most but just an apartment you have to know exactly what you need to buy.
The best part of this video was watching Wolfie help with the boxes!! He's adorable!! 💛💜💛
that sigh of relief, when you sit down to eat your pizza and can finally take of the mask. great video! I just wish I could smoke those ribs on my smoker, we take our ribs seriously in Texas hope your get together goes well
I work in a Costco in the United States and love how I feel like this looks like my store
Feels like every Costco store is the same worldwide. The hotdog/ soft drink combo is one of my favourites. And hello from London😊
The hot dogs are soooo cheap - but they are actually pretty good as well (much better than the IKEA ones). My go to Costco snack ;) My local Costco is in Glasgow now, but I used to shop in the Croydon one - All Costcos seem to have a similar layout. It's refreshingly familiar :)
I work at a Costco in Canada, and it looks quite different than a Japan Costco
Still always amazing to see happy families at Costco and helping them the best we can!
I like that a car isn't a necessity in Japan. I can't get around past a certain point without a car depending on where I am in America.
This could be an episode on the main channel. I fact, it could be a series, Costco in Japan showing what they sell during all the seasons.
paolo is so wholesome 3:43 the other lady is smiling at them xD
How did I just notice now that this guy has a great voice, especially when speaking English, very suitable for documentary.
Years ago, I was the parent wondering if my kids would ever sit in a cart quietly, and I honestly don't think that it is going to happen for all kids. 🤣 But soon Wolfie will be able to walk with you and help with retrieving items during shopping. It was also an opportunity to talk about all kinds of topics like needs vs. wants, cooking, and money as my kids got older. Those were fun times, and it's fun to see Wolifie as he changes and grows. ✌️from CA.
You don't have the food court kiosiks all pre order and pay even. Everything else looks exactly the same as the store we have in East Peoria Il.
My teacher put your videos up in assembly, he and everyone i think now in my school likes how interesting your videos are :D 🏴
Good to see your son enjoying himself!
Shopping at Costco is always a love-hate thing. You can get great savings from bulk purchases but then you also entrapped by binge shopping esp. on foodstuffs. Controlling warehouse supermarket shopping is always something customers need to watch out for (before they break their wallets and run into debt etc.), especially given current dire times.
Haha 😂 I love her response “I’m always looking at the facts” y’all are cute 🥰
I am impressed that in an Japan costco, they would put french :/.. Well I speak french but I'm still impressed.
I just went for the first time at Costco yesterday in France and they do have good deals and foreign food we can't find in groceries shop. But, some of the products are more expensive so I need to compare more carefully 🤣 I got the slice of pizza and it's so biig. I couldn't finish myself
I stick to the facts! Every mum who’s been up in the night with a toddler 🤣
Allways looking forward for your videos :-)
Kids grow so fast today❤
nice, you still have the combo pizza. Costco here in America discontinued it.
Omgggg he is soo cute this is my first vlog n ur family is beautiful
calm down man paolo is married
Why oh why do we not have escalators in the US that accommodate shopping carts or strollers??? It is genius and so much easier for parents!
3:45 gotta teach em early to be down for that costco food
So, how did you cook that turkey in a Japanese kitchen?
$100 for 3 racks of spare ribs is insane!
You can pay with debit cards in Canada.
Best way is taking turns with the buying.
(5:40)I love how guys treat there wife like a mom 😆
He did well !!! Once they hit about 2 1/2 they sit still (in my experience ) new Sub here . Love the content
Smashing some cold diesel Budweiser’s ...............I’m proud.!!!!!
Maiko's purse/backpack is so adorable! Do you happen to know what brand it is?
Maiko is always so stylish!!!
And y'all have such a beautiful family
It’s from Kate Spade🥰
I’m a Kate Spade lover😊✨
OMG wolfy is so big now!!!
Goodness he is getting so big! 😮 You need to get a child leash. It's a body harness with a 3 or 4 ft long leash. Absolutely the best thing we had with both our kids.
Love your family videos, too❤️❤️❤️
it looks weird having to the boxes after paying cause in my state they have boxes ready for your stuff as you pay so when you done shopping you just take it to your car
Got those toddler parent eye bags. Sleep if you can.
Is that all around Japan, or just Costco Japan where they don’t accept Visa credit cards? Love your content can’t wait to visit Japan next summer!!!!!
I enjoy your vids!
I love how your little one helps, & I like your wife’s natural hair colour ! Some of your prices are the same as here in Canada . So awesome you had a fan from Kuwait ! May I ask why you bought the plastic cutlery ? Do you reuse or recycle it ? I am always thinking of the planet ! Take care , I really enjoy your videos. PS: my son used to u tube when it first started , he also learned to speak Japanese ! He is going to visit Japan again. Check out his synth music on Tokyo Rat!
Wolfy is so cute
We had the exact problem as you did our first time. All of our food was rung up and then they said only mastercard or cash. The people behind us had to wait for my husband to get the cash from the ATM. It was so expensive like 50,000 yen.
We were there today, but we went to the Yokohama location. You were probably at another location. We got cash this time it was fast and a better experience than last time.
That's the Kawasaki store, I go there all the time.
Costco Japan has the combo pizza? US Costco got rid of the combo pizza when the pandemic started
Your little Wolfe is so adorable. I’d love to go to Costco in Australia but the membership fee is too much for the amount of times I’d use it.. I love your videos
The Costco in California stopped selling combo pizza when the pandemic hit. Super lame.
I saw that Budweiser 😏
this is too wholesome paolo ur killing me with it LMAO
To answer you question of when you will be able to shop distraction free? Never. The answer is never lol. My sons are teenagers now and it still happens lol.
Just the cutest!!
The car seat okay
❤️❤️❤️
It’s a symptom of mix baby I soo have this problem bro
Hi Paolo, Have your parent and or relatives over visited to meet your son?
This menu is so much better than the menus in the US wtf
You guys are so cute
Is that a super brown banana hanging up there?
Wished they served burgers in american costcos
Her dress is beautiful!
Wolfe…….I think I’ll name my kid doggy
2:17 i didn't know there were car sharing services in tokyo. that's really interesting. the traditional rent-a-car services in japan must not be very happy about this.
Completely confused about having Thanksgiving Turkey in Easter April! How are they baking turkey using Japanese appliances - do they have a Western conventional oven?
heyo tz i got a question for you dude!
Cheese is expensive everywhere
How many channels do you have?
He is so cute 😍!
In California they don’t accept Mastercard . They never accept my apple card at any Costco
Only thing I hate about Costco is PARKING!?
Costco Japan is wayyyyyyyyy better than Costco in Taiwan
四月は日本で寒いですか?
My American Costco took away the onions for hot 🌭 dogs....wth
Ahhh they still have the Combo pizza in Japan... Costco Australia killed it and replaced it with some other horrible flavour. :(
$30 for a slab of ribs. No way. I hope it was a 3 pack
crap I want that sushi
10:28 🇰🇼🇰🇼❤️🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦
10:36 bu adam net türk
the fact you speak to Wolfy in both English and Japanese is cute and adorable but it will also come in handy when he gets older knowing two languages really goes a long way and is a very good skill to have
I laughed so much after hearing Wolfy say "wow" after Maiko revealed the pizza. He's really fun to watch. I feel like I'm his Filipino aunt.
no ur part of the korean band
@@bigbob2364 just because someone likes Kpop doesnt mean theyre not filipino lol
As someone who has been working for Costco 11 years this was very interesting to watch. It’s fun to see what same products are sold there, and how different some of the other stuff is. Especially in the deli area.
I've been working in Costco for about 13 years in the Deli Area, and it truly is interesting to see other Costco's from other countries!
11 years at front end and gas station. This makes me like going to my work. Lol!
I'm currently in quarantine, and haven't left the house in days. This was a fun video - Felt like I was there😊 Costco is always an exciting trip
Hope you’re fully better soon!
Get better soon!
What is quarantine? Never heard of it cause I live in a free place.
@@sithyarael6807 +1
Awww, Wolfy loves helping his mummy and daddy! Was that his first time eating pizza? If so, a big moment for a half-American child, LOL! Can't wait to see your Thanksgiving, and BTW, Maiko, your hair looks really cute!
"Maybe its the new car seat."
Trust me its Coco melon
I love how Costco and Ikea tend to have the same layout even overseas and in different countries. Before the pandemic we would go just for the afternoon to get free samples and maybe buy a drink and a hotdog. My favorite part as a kid was when the person at the exit would draw a face or picture on the receipt if a kid gave it to them.
IKEA is for PewDiePie fans lol
I love watching international shopping trips. From Alaska, to Germany, my home England, all the way to yours ( and many in between). It's an eye opener !!
He is clearly a half-American kid that he loves pizza. Great to see Costco in Japan look almost the same as in the US. Wolfy is going to have such an advantage as he grows up speaking both Japanese and English fluently.
Japanese costco seems so much better than US costcos. Look at the menu from the foodcourts, they got way more options.
@@dlo12 yeah, and lots of sushi!
@@dlo12 Honestly looks about the same as the ones we have here in California.
They make them the same no matter which country.
@@LancerX916 California Costco locations should get the Bulgogi Bake.
When you get to Costco go to the kids book section and have him pick out a book to look at while shopping. It helps.
Unless you’re going to buy the book or it’s advertised to borrow in store, bring your child’s own books or toys. No one wants to buy something that’s been used by others.
This might be a silly stupid question but can that turkey *fit* in a typical Japanese oven? Aren’t they on the smaller side? Or does it vary?
I’ve had to cut mine up into pieces and bake/cook the parts separately. It’s a pain but better than no turkey at all!
Can we get a video of wolfy meeting the grandparents please.🥺
Wolfy's expression seeing the pizza slice is me getting excited to see Pizza 🤣😂 let's be honest here, that's the cutest "Whoaaa" you've ever heard ❤
It must have been nice for Paolo to meet one of his fans (the man from Kuwait)!
When I take my grand babies to the store I take a soft throw blanket and fold it up and put it in the sitting section in a way so they can fit their legs through but sit on something nice and soft. Also some thing soft to lean back on and lay their head on if they get sleepy. It really made things so much easier! I know if someone wanted most adults to sit on hard cold grocery basket wires , especially for an hour or more, they would think that was crazy. But for some reason they don’t seem to think a little child will be affected by it. ( Not inferring you do that though. Maybe it’s more of a oversight in my country. 🤔🤷🏼♀️
