This one time my cousin lost her cat and when her and her family moved to a different area their cat randomly showed up at their window. The cat still lives with them dont worry.
It either tracked the scent or out a tracker on them to keep tabs in them and report back to the cat government

I think the reason why cats can use themselves as parachutes it because they are lighter which makes them have a lower terminal velocity compared to humans, and they have more skin attaching their limbs which to their body which catches more air slowing them down.
Their fur is not all fur, they have a air layer between their fur and skin, that definently helps them

Both Dogs and Cats will eat their owner if they have to eat when there's nothing else to eat. I remember hearing about a case (from this dude Casual Geographic I'm pretty sure) of a Dog eating it's paralyzed owner alive because it thought that she died and it needed to eat

it honestly depends on the animal itself. saying a dog or cat WILL eat their owner is kinda stupid but not unfounded. so many people, especially dog owners don't want to believe that their dog will eat them, especially if they have other food available but that just isn't necessarily true. some dogs will eat you within hours of you dying, even if they have fresh food available and aren't starving. big dog, small dog, good dog, mean dog, it doesn't matter. with cats its much more likely for them to eat you, but its not a guarantee like people seem to think. honestly though, it shouldn't come as a surprise, at the end of the day, a dog or a cat is going to do what they have to to survive, can't blame them for that.

In all honesty it’s best to have your cat be an indoor cat with only access to being outside on a leash. They are an invasive species that have decimated local bird and lizard populations as they are specialized in hunting those type of animals. In general indoor cats also live longer as they have less exposure to bad weather, disease, predation, and vehicle collisions.
House cats are the perfect example of a glass canon.

So your cat hunts to bring you food since obviously you’re incapable. I give my cat’s delectables when I get home from work. It cuts down on the mass graveyard out back of your house. 😂
