I feel like every time I hear about the 12th house from a traditional standpoint it’s literally all doom and gloom. I struggle to grapple with this

7th house and 10th house ruler, Jupiter, is in the 12th house in Taurus, on Algol. It’s been a really difficult energy to harness but I have learnt to love that placement as I’ve got older. Thank you 🙏🏽🤍💫

im a Sun, mars, Venus in 12th house AND my Sun is in debilitation ♒ .
There is more spiritual magic to this house then ancient or traditional views could grasp and he is only covering traditional views.
Meditate and seek within and open up that 12th house energy .
Clairvoyants and psychics were deemed crazy .
The mystic swims in the same waters ; )
I love my 12th house and the suffering crafted me into a seeker of truth, wisdom and looking within 😁

I have pondered this question myself and my conclusion is absolutely yes. And by enemy I mean that this individual can influence aspects of the psyche that is not in the best interest of the 12th house person. The 12th house person can be totally oblivious initially and sink into self delusion and self destructive behavior at the negative influences of the personal planet individual.
Certain planets will play out differently nevertheless I’d pass on 12th house Synastry and work out my own 12th house placements. It could be dangerous and leave the 12th house individual extremely vulnerable and loss.

i don't think you should badmouth that house - there's consequences.... and i don't agree - the 12th house saves us from our dreary lives and wakes us up. And don't start on the 8th, it brings depth and richness to our incarnations. People are afraid bc they are asleep :)

Every house has many octaves! Including the 12th. Pointing out the lower manifestations is useful IF they are used as a point of departure for raising the frequency of an aspect to a higher octave. The 12th, in particular represents enlightenment and the access to highest energy frequencies. These in turn are the most healing energies that exist.
So perhaps the 12th gives the ability to heal and rise above a chronic physical condition, as well as imposing it in the first place. We are human to experience. We experience in order to learn to master our human experience in the highest and best💗

The reason I preface everything I say with the phrase “in Traditional Astrology” is because this is what these things mean “in Traditional Astrology”. I have no clue about what people say, practice, or think in modern astrology. However, *in Traditional Astrology* what I said in this video is what the twelfth house represents.

Feminine traits were also considered negative lol - no surprise, as the Founding Fathers of just about everything were Men - their tremendous fear and intimidation of the power of the Divine Feminine is noteworthy! There comes a time when every belief system crumbles and gives way to one more evolved.
I am Curious though - as a practicing “Medical Astrologer” are these Traditional views the ones you adhere to in practice, or was this piece meant to be purely educational? If it’s not educational, why would anyone hold fast to such archaic views & interpretations??🤔
