Been in a 12 th house stellum for 59 years. I've had an amazing life full of events. I was a Lay Midwife for years, a Mother, a Wife, Grew up on a Commune, I'm a RN, however 15 years ago I was injured at the hospital a patient broke my neck so health has been a focus. I don't know any other life and believe more about Dharma vs Karma. I'm bedridden a lot. However I'm highly Empathetic. Therefore the Alone time helps me recoup my energy. Having an easy life could have been boring I'm grateful for every aspect of my life good or not. I'm the type person I believe in bettering my life and enjoying my life daily for good or not... I keep saying why don’t they start forcing inmates to adopt mindful practices that help heal/manage our human selves through this interesting adventure. What would happen if meditation, yoga, learning about yourself and how you go to that point to build awareness to hopefully not get there again and make prison a place where the goal is you go once, with the hope you get the rehabilitation you need to not resort back to the same timeline you were on
As soon as my friend meditated in jail, and kept that as a routine, she was released and the heavy charges were dropped. Obviously there’s more to the story, but she said that really helped her while she was there and she even had a prophetic dream about leaving before the her court date and release. Hope your brother is well.

Thank you for this! I have the Sun (my chart ruler) in Cancer in the 12th and it has certainly been interesting. Others see me as gregarious and extroverted, but I strongly prefer solitude. Self-undoing indeed. :) I've often referred to myself as the "most reluctant Leo rising." I used to struggle with the dichotomy quite a bit before cultivating a spiritual practice.

I have a stellium of 5 Libra planets in the 12 whole house. About a decade ago, I was given an opportunity to wean myself off of all mental health medications... I have never gone back. I DO practice devotions of meditation and prayer. Among the most important of these was ACCEPTING that sometimes I get depressed. It is part of life, just like happiness. I "observe" that it still happens, when it happens. But I also observe that it is impermanent. So I embrace them with contemplation and non-aversion just as I embrace the happy moments with non-attachment to avoid craving and addictive dependency. I am thus no longer running from this twelfth house, although Saturn is also there.

Get used to the idea your partner will be older than you, and work on yourself. 12th house Venus does bless you the best way possible but might as well get used to the idea you will always attract older partners. 18 years with the best human being possible for me, 16 years married, he is 12 years older and l had to move to a foreign country ( all part of Venus on the 12th house ), l have a freaking fairy tale marriage. This video is very very interesting and useful. I've only Mars in the 12th house, in Aquarius, and it's very difficult for me to simply have some kind of will. In the 12th house it can't be a classic Mars, it necessarily has to do some kind of neptunian activity of any kind. Luckily I've found astrology at and early age, which is my mental savior. Astrology makes order into the chaos and helps us to deal with everything.

JoJo is an aquarius rising with saturn, venus and mercury in capricorn (12th) in a day time chart. She's just had her saturn return and came out with a short documentary about why we haven't seen her in so long. She was unable to take control of her career due to abusive record deals with a label (which she describes as the 'sinking ship') that doesn't even exist anymore, but had all the rights to everything of hers, even her voice, she still can't even put her albums on streaming services. Her father was an addict and she lost him. And she also went through a phase with drugs and alcohol to deal with everything. Now she's coming back after years and years of fighting to release an album.

Thank you for your insight. I have always pondered how my Leo Moon in the 12th House shows up in my life. I can safely say, it’s not about me... I have worked in the hospital as an ICU nurse and now as a case manager that works with others to often arrange rehab, hospice and outside of the hospital assistance and care. Often I battle with “others’” autonomy and their desire to not be confined or the loss of their physical ability to care for themselves, or those experiencing dementia, in which their ability to make sense of their world is impaired. I must work to help others but find the need to remind myself of my separateness from their issues. My daily work mantra...”I love my job”...
I have Saturn in this house. When I was eight, my father was killed on Winter Solstice - his mother's birthday,and her only son. She was living with us at the time, and had a nervous breakdown...and this started a life of deep contemplation in answering the profound questions of life....I have lost many lovers since- not while I was with them, thankfully! The great adventure goes on! BLESSINGS.
Saturn here as well, in Leo... more miscarriages than live births, spinal trauma, husband left us just one day with his boss, a Capricorn.... but yet- I would never give up these things for the deep internal pain and self knowing this journey has given me, and the kids.... to lead a life with a softness, a kindness, and empathy to all and their path. 🌱🥰🙏and now I teach children meditation to get thru the crazy times and know themselves as well. Crazy- I have Uranus and North Node in Scorpio in my 12th house, conjunct my Scorpio ascendant. As a teenager I was admitted to an inpatient psych unit for a month and am now a hospice care companion, based in my deep spirituality. But anyway, besides all the "normal" 12th house stuff discussed here, my dad was also killed when I was young. Electrocuted=Uranus. Crazy

Sorry I’m a total amateur but was wondering if your rising sign is cancer, how is it your 12th house too? Your 12th should be Gemini and your 1st house should be Cancer? The placements in your chart seem very rare and unusual. Never came across such a case before.
Wow I just had an epiphany about my 12th house Gemini Mars , and Moon, square my 10 the house Venus in Pices. My first marriage my husband was in jail, I was only sixteen. My mother went to a mental hospital when I was about 6 and my bother was in the hospital a couple of times when we were really little. My mom and brother are Cancers. I have been following a spiritual path since I was young teenager, and truly the only way I have survived my life is my very deep spiritual commitment Thank you for this understanding. So grateful ❤️
Mercury in 12th house. I love talking about taboo subjects, conspiracies, religion or spirituality, higher consciousness, etc. And I love writing fantasies. Lol People tell me that I can start talking and "drift off" before coming back to the subject again. 😅 I have been married twice now and both were exactly that. One was gone physically. The next gone emotionally, depressed and mentally checked out. I was basically not married and doing things alone both times. But my mercury rules my 2nd & 11th houses. My experience? My daughter lost custody of her two boys. My young grandchildren. Im now, a single grandmother raising two boys. I've looked forward to this time of my life. I'm physically, spiritually, and mentally suffering. This suffering is necessary. These boys deserve sooo much more. I'm trying so hard to nor feel spiteful and angry. My daughter? Doing whatever she wants and just had another child with another deadbeat. I'm devastated at this "loss of control" of my own life and freedom. I have Neptune in my Scorpio 12th house (along with south node and part of fortune). Neptune is part of a grand water trine, including Jupiter in 8th Cancer. Yes please do my son at 23 years old was in prison for a year and half and last 3 months yoga was introduced and I visiting him. Saw a shift in him and calmness. If I can say about incarceration. I didn't hear you saying anything positive really outside of becoming more spiritual and that this placement would cause that necessity I'm a 56-year-old woman the end of this and I have my ascendant and my moon and the 12th house I've known quite a few people who do not have their descendants as they're north but in case I do would be Aries I'm perplexed on some of the astrologers out there talk about the differentiation between the ascendant and the rising Some people think they're interchangeable I didn't see that reflected in this video or even on that chart And maybe that's because you're talking about a different type of astrology You say it's ancient astrology but I'll be honest with you it resonates with me and I'm highly intuitive so there is a distinction between the ascendant which is your karma and your descendent which is your dharma But like you mentioned yes it doesn't always have to be about you because there's a balance between the 12th and the sixth house if you have this placement even if it isn't your north and south notes There is every and I find it interesting that many years ago there was a movie put out called 6° of separation You're looking at the axis of every planet replacement in each individual house the axis is going to be six houses away To me that was not a mistake or coincidence which I don't necessarily believe in I like to listen to everyone and their opinions on these matters. I haven't even barely spaced the surface and I've been observing astrology from the very rudimentary stages which isn't actually a science It's more like entertainment but of course it's not accurate because it's incomplete so that's 41 years and in almost the last 20 years I've really dug a little bit deeper and I keep going deeper and deeper and deeper into me that is my rising which is Scorpio first house which means to me and what I've heard which not everyone will agree with… Is that Pluto really is the ruler of my chart and for the life that I've had that resonates What other explanation could there be and then looking at the chart of my children and also my immediate family where I came from which I don't really have access to their charts but I do have access to my children and I can see the connections and the purpose behind our souls being together in this life What we would learn from each other what would we teach each other what hardships we would have to endure and what hardships we would have to witness it's been quite a life It's been riddled with turmoil pain suffering hardships cruelty narcissism I wish I knew more sooner it might have made my journey a little more palatable With that said I'm grateful because it has forced me to open up to be vulnerable to be ready for change and accepting to also no one to surrender to let my intuition be my guiding force and to trust it without question 10 1/2 years ago I got involved with the man who would teach me a very hard lesson in hindsight I can see the the error of my choices and I do take full responsibility and accountability That is what ingrain those lessons because I paid a very heavy price but fortunately I'm still here He was a grand narcissist I put my nose where it didn't belong And I paid a price because when he went into a rage it was 22 hours of torment across several state lines and a high moving vehicle I didn't know that I would make it out alive He was threatening to bodily harm and the end result was deposited at a gas station with nowhere to live I would live the next eight years in my car Every day was a struggle every year that past became more and more difficult and at the same token I surrendered until I couldn't do it any longer and eventually I learned how to ask for help while I was trying to help myself I didn't struggle with drug addiction I wasn't using alcohol I wasn't promiscuous I worked every single day but as the journey progress it became harder and harder to make it and I knew the universe was at the helm of that I've only been out of my car for the last three months No one would help me my whole family turned their back on me I had to learn to ask for help from outside sources it's not gonna get experience having my own place because I was lumped in with all the other people from the shelter in their individual apartments and placed right under the thumb of another narcissist this time it's a female and she is the property manager who has cruel intentions. I've heard the horror stories of the things she's done to the people who lived here in last 10 years It's a scam the government gives money to help place people in apartments doesn't prepare them most of them don't know how to function outside of their dysfunction and she takes full advantage to harm those people further Right now she's threatening to have my car towed it won't pass inspection It means nothing that I'm paying for two parking spots that she's telling me I'm not entitled to have because my car needs mechanical work before it will pass inspection and that even even though it is my property it's not welcome here She also told me that if I didn't like the way she was raging in my face to pack my things and get out At that point I had only been here a month and a half My daughter thinks it's strange that someone would constantly have to battle uphill and have to deal with situations at other people are not having to deal with such as herself She has no idea this is about power and I'm also a life path so I lived in my car for eight years I'm a life path eight we've got Pluto written all over my chart and all over me and my experience It's not for the faint of heart And I'm not here to complain but I am here to say that something about this video feels off and it's because it doesn't resonate for me at least not 100% One thing I have learned over the course of the last 56 years is to trust my intuition because it is my spiritual GPS so whether I can logically explain why this is an accurate or not whether I am an expert or not I can tell you that this is not the truth and nothing but the truth i'm sure some people will take offense to that and that's not why I'm leaving the comment I'm simply saying continue to search and find your own truth because a lot of the things that people have learned someone else truth and they never think twice about it they never believe that there can be any improvements are expansions and I don't understand that way of thinking either clearly appliances that do not exist because they became obsolete Something better took its place But I don't see that happening with astrology And I definitely think that there's something there in that final statement that I'm leaving you with

Just realized you're using whole house signs. When using Placidus my Sun and Moon are in the 12th (Pisces) but when using whole signs I have both the Sun and Moon in the 1st house (Pisces). Gah, so confusing! Vedic my Moon is in the 12th with Sun in 1st as well.

I think it's the moon in 12th house, I've often seen this kind of ability in many charts with a 12th house Moon. Moon is the sleep, the dreaming. Saturn seems to be the very opposite of the Moon, lucidity, awakeness, clear mind, but they are a secret couple, who rules Time. The Moon gives you the foreshadowing of events and Saturn to me gives you the power to remember those dreams, to cristallize them. Great gift.
Anyone dealing with moon in twelfth house? I do desperately want to understand it more so I can work with it. I have a good attitude but I feel like something is wrong with me. I can’t connect with people properly. I can connect but I feel sooo uncomfortable and say silly things and I just feel like I have no idea what is going on in convos, especially if someone is joking with me. Imprisoned in or by feelings is certainly on point for Luna in the 12th. The 12th also pertains to isolation and imprisonment, and Luna to needs, emotions, and foundations. You might look to the planet that rules and planets that aspect your Luna as a starting point for remediation. Mars in the 12th here, not Luna, although it is in Cancer.
This is possibly the best explanation of the meaning of the 12th I've heard. I also find the symbolism of the 12th (along with the 6th, 8th, and 2nd) being in aversion to the 1st very helpful in understanding the 12th feeling disconnected from the ascendant because it can't see it, with one of the major aspects that is. Is there a reason why you didn't mention that part of the symbolism of the house? As someone with the ascendant ruler in the 12th it is this experience of never being able to quite "see" yourself clearly that causes much suffering, confusion, and self-undoing.
If the 12th house itself is void of any planets transiting at the time that something very "12th house" happens to someone, can we see it by the dignity of the 12th houses ruler by transit? Like is the 12th house "bad" stuff more likely to happen when the ruler is in dignity or is it more likely to happen when the ruler is weakened by house and sign?
I resonate with a lot of what you spoke on. I def lost a lot of control over my identity due to closed adoption. That lead me to have mental health challenges. Also was dx adhd when 19 (I’m now 38). Lost my ex husband to alcoholism and suicide last year so this all checks out. My life has absolutely been challenging but I have gotten to experience a lot of profound experiences which has lead me deeper into my spiritual practice

Adam, I invite you to consider the temporary travails of the day as headwinds to the true objective which is a return to self which you call secondary motion. The epic Greek literary view is impedance in the process of return. The winds are not always blowing against us. Empty houses may represent lulls/downtimes as they rise. The way home is sporadic but always fated. Homer’s Odysseus and Aeschylus’s Agamemnon represent two different takes one the fated return. Read the Watchman’s intro in Agamemnon and see the woe of a sleepless astrologer aiding the destruction of his king. Jesus gets the same bum steering from the Magi.
Moon in 12th. Mother became alcoholic starting when she was about age 30. Also in mental health facility several times before my 15th birthday. I was only about 9 or 10 when she started drinking. Father was Cancer (another moon reference), & paralyzed from car wreck when I was 8, which probably is the main reason for my mother starting to drink. But if I do my chart your way, Moon is placed in my 1st house, which most of the time, is the real me. Very emotional. Gemini ascendant has probably saved my life. Been in a 12 th house stellum for 59 years. I've had an amazing life full of events. I was a Lay Midwife for years, a Mother, a Wife, Grew up on a Commune, I'm a RN, however 15 years ago I was injured at the hospital a patient broke my neck so health has been a focus. I don't know any other life and believe more about Dharma vs Karma. I'm bedridden a lot. However I'm highly Empathetic. Therefore the Alone time helps me recoup my energy. Having an easy life could have been boring I'm grateful for every aspect of my life good or not. I'm the type person I believe in bettering my life and enjoying my life daily for good or not... I keep saying why don’t they start forcing inmates to adopt mindful practices that help heal/manage our human selves through this interesting adventure. What would happen if meditation, yoga, learning about yourself and how you go to that point to build awareness to hopefully not get there again and make prison a place where the goal is you go once, with the hope you get the rehabilitation you need to not resort back to the same timeline you were on
As soon as my friend meditated in jail, and kept that as a routine, she was released and the heavy charges were dropped. Obviously there’s more to the story, but she said that really helped her while she was there and she even had a prophetic dream about leaving before the her court date and release.

I have a stellium of 5 Libra planets in the 12 whole house. About a decade ago, I was given an opportunity to wean myself off of all mental health medications... I have never gone back. I DO practice devotions of meditation and prayer. Among the most important of these was ACCEPTING that sometimes I get depressed. It is part of life, just like happiness. I "observe" that it still happens, when it happens. But I also observe that it is impermanent. So I embrace them with contemplation and non-aversion just as I embrace the happy moments with non-attachment to avoid craving and addictive dependency. I am thus no longer running from this twelfth house, although Saturn is also there.

This video is very very interesting and useful. I've only Mars in the 12th house, in Aquarius, and it's very difficult for me to simply have some kind of will. In the 12th house it can't be a classic Mars, it necessarily has to do some kind of neptunian activity of any kind. Luckily I've found astrology at and early age, which is my mental savior. Astrology makes order into the chaos and helps us to deal with everything.

She's just had her saturn return and came out with a short documentary about why we haven't seen her in so long. She was unable to take control of her career due to abusive record deals with a label (which she describes as the 'sinking ship') that doesn't even exist anymore, but had all the rights to everything of hers, even her voice, she still can't even put her albums on streaming services. Her father was an addict and she lost him. And she also went through a phase with drugs and alcohol to deal with everything. Now she's coming back after years and years of fighting to release an album.

Thank you for your insight. I have always pondered how my Leo Moon in the 12th House shows up in my life. I can safely say, it’s not about me... I have worked in the hospital as an ICU nurse and now as a case manager that works with others to often arrange rehab, hospice and outside of the hospital assistance and care. Often I battle with “others’” autonomy and their desire to not be confined or the loss of their physical ability to care for themselves, or those experiencing dementia, in which their ability to make sense of their world is impaired. I must work to help others but find the need to remind myself of my separateness from their issues. My daily work mantra...”I love my job”...

She was living with us at the time, and had a nervous breakdown...and this started a life of deep contemplation in answering the profound questions of life....I have lost many lovers since- not while I was with them, thankfully! The great adventure goes on! BLESSINGS.
Saturn here as well, in Leo... more miscarriages than live births, spinal trauma, husband left us just one day with his boss, a Capricorn.... but yet- I would never give up these things for the deep internal pain and self knowing this journey has given me, and the kids.... to lead a life with a softness, a kindness, and empathy to all and their path. 🌱🥰🙏and now I teach children meditation to get thru the crazy times and know themselves as well. As a teenager I was admitted to an inpatient psych unit for a month and am now a hospice care companion, based in my deep spirituality. But anyway, besides all the "normal" 12th house stuff discussed here, my dad was also killed when I was young. Electrocuted=Uranus. Crazy

Wow I just had an epiphany about my 12th house Gemini Mars , and Moon, square my 10 the house Venus in Pices. My first marriage my husband was in jail, I was only sixteen. My mother went to a mental hospital when I was about 6 and my bother was in the hospital a couple of times when we were really little. My mom and brother are Cancers. I have been following a spiritual path since I was young teenager, and truly the only way I have survived my life is my very deep spiritual commitment Thank you for this understanding. So grateful ❤️

My experience? My daughter lost custody of her two boys. My young grandchildren. Im now, a single grandmother raising two boys. I've looked forward to this time of my life. I love my grandchildren, yet I feel imprisoned. It's making me physically sick. I know this sacrifice is my destiny. My karma. And, my ancestorial karma. I have no help for any respite. I'm physically, spiritually, and mentally suffering. This suffering is necessary. These boys deserve sooo much more. I'm trying so hard to nor feel spiteful and angry. My daughter? Doing whatever she wants and just had another child with another deadbeat. I'm devastated at this "loss of control" of my own life and freedom. I've known quite a few people who do not have their descendants as they're north but in case I do would be Aries
I'm perplexed on some of the astrologers out there talk about the differentiation between the ascendant and the rising
Some people think they're interchangeable I didn't see that reflected in this video or even on that chart
And maybe that's because you're talking about a different type of astrology
You say it's ancient astrology but I'll be honest with you it resonates with me and I'm highly intuitive so there is a distinction between the ascendant which is your karma and your descendent which is your dharma
But like you mentioned yes it doesn't always have to be about you because there's a balance between the 12th and the sixth house if you have this placement even if it isn't your north and south notes
There is every and I find it interesting that many years ago there was a movie put out called 6° of separation
You're looking at the axis of every planet replacement in each individual house the axis is going to be six houses away
To me that was not a mistake or coincidence which I don't necessarily believe in
I like to listen to everyone and their opinions on these matters. I haven't even barely spaced the surface and I've been observing astrology from the very rudimentary stages which isn't actually a science

and then looking at the chart of my children and also my immediate family where I came from which I don't really have access to their charts but I do have access to my children and I can see the connections and the purpose behind our souls being together in this life
What we would learn from each other what would we teach each other what hardships we would have to endure and what hardships we would have to witness
it's been quite a life
It's been riddled with turmoil pain suffering hardships cruelty narcissism
I wish I knew more sooner it might have made my journey a little more palatable
With that said I'm grateful because it has forced me to open up to be vulnerable to be ready for change and accepting to also no one to surrender to let my intuition be my guiding force and to trust it without question
10 1/2 years ago I got involved with the man who would teach me a very hard lesson
in hindsight I can see the the error of my choices and I do take full responsibility and accountability
That is what ingrain those lessons because I paid a very heavy price but fortunately I'm still here
He was a grand narcissist
I put my nose where it didn't belong
And I paid a price because when he went into a rage it was 22 hours of torment across several state lines and a high moving vehicle I didn't know that I would make it out alive
He was threatening to bodily harm and the end result was deposited at a gas station with nowhere to live
I would live the next eight years in my car
Every day was a struggle every year that past became more and more difficult and at the same token I surrendered until I couldn't do it any longer and eventually I learned how to ask for help while I was trying to help myself
I didn't struggle with drug addiction I wasn't using alcohol I wasn't promiscuous I worked every single day but as the journey progress it became harder and harder to make it and I knew the universe was at the helm of that
I've only been out of my car for the last three months
No one would help me my whole family turned their back on me I had to learn to ask for help from outside sources
it's not gonna get experience having my own place because I was lumped in with all the other people from the shelter in their individual apartments and placed right under the thumb of another narcissist this time it's a female and she is the property manager who has cruel intentions. I've heard the horror stories of the things she's done to the people who lived here in last 10 years
It's a scam the government gives money to help place people in apartments doesn't prepare them most of them don't know how to function outside of their dysfunction and she takes full advantage to harm those people further
Right now she's threatening to have my car towed it won't pass inspection
It means nothing that I'm paying for two parking spots that she's telling me I'm not entitled to have because my car needs mechanical work before it will pass inspection and that even even though it is my property it's not welcome here
She also told me that if I didn't like the way she was raging in my face to pack my things and get out
At that point I had only been here a month and a half
My daughter thinks it's strange that someone would constantly have to battle uphill and have to deal with situations at other people are not having to deal with such as herself
She has no idea this is about power and I'm also a life path so I lived in my car for eight years I'm a life path eight we've got Pluto written all over my chart and all over me and my experience
It's not for the faint of heart
And I'm not here to complain but I am here to say that something about this video feels off and it's because it doesn't resonate for me at least not 100%
One thing I have learned over the course of the last 56 years is to trust my intuition because it is my spiritual GPS so whether I can logically explain why this is an accurate or not whether I am an expert or not I can tell you that this is not the truth and nothing but the truth
i'm sure some people will take offense to that and that's not why I'm leaving the comment I'm simply saying continue to search and find your own truth because a lot of the things that people have learned someone else truth and they never think twice about it they never believe that there can be any improvements are expansions and I don't understand that way of thinking either clearly appliances that do not exist because they became obsolete

I have a grand fire trine in 12th. I am really grappling with acceptance of suffering, your take here is very helpful. I will say though, I'll never accept it, I'll never submit to god and I will always hate this world. Against the backdrop of unfathomable suffering in this realm, the creator can take chanting and good vibes and stuff it up his ass.

Just realized you're using whole house signs. When using Placidus my Sun and Moon are in the 12th (Pisces) but when using whole signs I have both the Sun and Moon in the 1st house (Pisces). Gah, so confusing!
Vedic my Moon is in the 12th with Sun in 1st as well.

I think it's the moon in 12th house, I've often seen this kind of ability in many charts with a 12th house Moon. Moon is the sleep, the dreaming. Saturn seems to be the very opposite of the Moon, lucidity, awakeness, clear mind, but they are a secret couple, who rules Time. The Moon gives you the foreshadowing of events and Saturn to me gives you the power to remember those dreams, to cristallize them. Great gift.
Anyone dealing with moon in twelfth house? I do desperately want to understand it more so I can work with it. I have a good attitude but I feel like something is wrong with me. I can’t connect with people properly. I can connect but I feel sooo uncomfortable and say silly things and I just feel like I have no idea what is going on in convos, especially if someone is joking with me. Imprisoned in or by feelings is certainly on point for Luna in the 12th. The 12th also pertains to isolation and imprisonment, and Luna to needs, emotions, and foundations.
You might look to the planet that rules and planets that aspect your Luna as a starting point for remediation.

This is possibly the best explanation of the meaning of the 12th I've heard. I also find the symbolism of the 12th (along with the 6th, 8th, and 2nd) being in aversion to the 1st very helpful in understanding the 12th feeling disconnected from the ascendant because it can't see it, with one of the major aspects that is.
Is there a reason why you didn't mention that part of the symbolism of the house?
As someone with the ascendant ruler in the 12th it is this experience of never being able to quite "see" yourself clearly that causes much suffering, confusion, and self-undoing.

If the 12th house itself is void of any planets transiting at the time that something very "12th house" happens to someone, can we see it by the dignity of the 12th houses ruler by transit? Like is the 12th house "bad" stuff more likely to happen when the ruler is in dignity or is it more likely to happen when the ruler is weakened by house and sign?
I resonate with a lot of what you spoke on. I def lost a lot of control over my identity due to closed adoption. That lead me to have mental health challenges. Also was dx adhd when 19 (I’m now 38). Lost my ex husband to alcoholism and suicide last year so this all checks out. My life has absolutely been challenging but I have gotten to experience a lot of profound experiences which has lead me deeper into my spiritual practice

Adam, I invite you to consider the temporary travails of the day as headwinds to the true objective which is a return to self which you call secondary motion. The epic Greek literary view is impedance in the process of return. The winds are not always blowing against us. Empty houses may represent lulls/downtimes as they rise. The way home is sporadic but always fated. Homer’s Odysseus and Aeschylus’s Agamemnon represent two different takes one the fated return. Moon in 12th. Mother became alcoholic starting when she was about age 30. Also in mental health facility several times before my 15th birthday. I was only about 9 or 10 when she started drinking. Father was Cancer (another moon reference), & paralyzed from car wreck when I was 8, which probably is the main reason for my mother starting to drink. But if I do my chart your way, Moon is placed in my 1st house, which most of the time, is the real me. Very emotional. Gemini ascendant has probably saved my life. Lite & curious & there are many subjects I have interested in & I’m never bored. Scorpio energy keeps me from being too shallow, mostly.
