Presumably because the planets are rising clockwise, but the signs are setting anti clockwise. Atleast in theory. I have sun in 12th house sag conjunct Neptune. And mercury also. And yet I have moon in first house conjunct ascendant and also mars in same sign Capricorn. North node Leo 8th house Leo. Saturn conjunct Jupiter in Libra and also pluto. And Uranus conjunct midheaven in Scorpio and also Venus same sign. And finally Chiron in Taurus. I don't feel confined especially, or confused. Atleast not anymore than Id think anyone else does. We're all in the same boat lol

Hi Maurice I have what traditional astrology would call a nightmare 12th house. Mercury, my chart ruler is retrograde and conjunct with my retrograde Venus. Both are conjunct with the South Node. My Sun is 10 degrees away from the S Node as well, not to mention my first house Saturn. I've worked in hospitals and multi-national corporations in my career, studied astrology for 50 years and published two books on it. That's why I place little emphasis on traditional astrology. Hi i don't speak english very well. Im pisces, 25° and my twelth house is from 27° pisces to 23° taurus. I have venus, mercury, mars, north node , and maybe the sun in this fucking house. Im a very strange guy, and you explain very well the reality of this house. I have also moon in capricorn 27° on my midheaven . i have a stellium in libra but three of those planets are in the 12th. the moon, saturn and pluto, right on the asc. then on the other side is jupiter. i think i was born shortly after a grand conjunction which i think factors into the presidential death curse. the one theme i notice in my life is i will be a great support and good luck charm for a romantic lover but the second they burn me, karma finds a way to stop their behavior (immediate DUI, other women stabbing them, getting sued by another driver, etc...).
