You should try the medical system now in Canada. People waiting 2 years just to have a family doctor , walk-in clinics see you only by appointments , to see a specialist can take up to 2 years, medications are 3 times more expensive than Italy. I can keep going, I just don't want to be boring :)
i moved to Canada 10 years ago from totally different culture, i haven't spoken English before but i adopt myself into the Canadian culture and went to English school and got my dream job. I agree to what she said about do not be afraid to move somewhere you don't speak the language if you're willing to be part of the society.
Me and my wife are Canadian and we are seriously planning on going and moving to Italy (Florence) area, very nerve racking and it comes with alot of anxiety. I originally brought up the idea as a joke thinking she would shut me down right away, exact opposite of what happened lol. hopefully it all goes well!
I need to learn the Euro as well as the job scene. Independent Contacting work is important. I have lost too many good jobs not to take work serious now
She said Canada's Healthcare is both free and good. Neither of which are completely true. We pay a high tax for our Healthcare, which is a mandatory fee deducted from any income. And not much has been invested in Healthcare in Canada for some time. If anything is been the opposite. A few years ago it was considered to be good, unless you needed care in megacities, where wait times are unbelievably long. Covid essentially decimated our "system".

I will travel and visit Naples or Rome before I make the decision. I need stable jobs to help myself. But the earliest will be 3 to 4 yrs from now.
Rome is the best choice (I'm Italian )
Are you considering a move to Italy?

I can buy a property in the States for cash in under 3 weeks. In Italia 3+ months.
At least in Italy you don't get shot or you don't go in debt for a simple surgery operation
