hi i allways try to have a pick up for any video's or i parts only decks betacam sp deck are to heavy to post i will say there 's not alot left in the south any more and price's are up i know alot are in lock up's i just done a new logic for my tascam 38 as the real one costs alot of money used i have a big hell fix up of some betamax decks leave for some time i have t do them
personally idve sent this straight back to the seller for a refund or at least tried to get a big discount, was it sent through Hermes?, i refuse to have anything posted using them and always ask sellers to send through UPS or Parcelforce.
I totally agree and I was so split on what to do but the heart won out - the seller was a total pain, essentially ignoring me waiting for the case to expire. I had to decide do I send it back for a full refund and it get dumped or do I save it. On courier - I always use DPD now. Every parcel via UPS in mid-Wales arrives damaged - they transfer parcels from the hub in a layby and throw the boxes between vans. PearcelForce are OK and I used to use them until I had a few damaged parcels. You are right though, it was Hermes and I was amazed the damage was as little as it was as it was just 'placed in a box' with no protection! Thank you so much for your comment though - always god to know what peoples experiences with couriers has been like.

Always good to have parts but as you say kit is starting to become scarce or very expensive. Fix those Beta's - you know you want to! 😊
