It's disgusting, unhinged, and unrealistic, and that's why I won't bother with this show. After I started to see where this show was going, it lost my interest and illustrated just how depraved some people who have the ability to tell stories really can be.

The story arc here is more momentous than any other. Even if you think he's evil. Hes only done what Rick has done yet more effectively. Yet he let's rick try it his way. Just to prove how unworthy the world is at that point.
Don't forget the story of Negan really covers over 6 years on the show. Most of it in a cell with a lot of time to think about things. One skill Negan never lost is his ability to read people or to size up a situation and make the right call (His exchanges with Judith are fun to watch). His return trip to the santuary was a sobering experience but he's pragmatic enough to know where his future and his best chance to survive are.
*Negan is an antihero, the antihero we NEED. He wasn't always this way, he has suffered, and lost so much. I think of him kind of like Anakin Skywalker, he went through Hell that turned him into the cynical, vengeful, heartless person he is today. There is ALWAYS a chance for redemption.*

I'm on s8 and I seen a bit of spoilers that Negan is a bigger part of the recent season. I cried watching this cause you wanted to hate him, but then he kind of became a character that brought interest to the show then he does something to remind you why you shouldnt like him. After, you feel empathy and sympathy for him. Now it seems like we can't see the show without his character, plus he is HANDSOME 😂 Now I really can't wait to see how character develops from where I'm at!

I love characters like Negan. They portray the reality of the world. It's facts, resources, and stability. I hate people who make decisions based off pure emotion. It causes inevitable chaos. If you like Negan, you'll love Handsome Jack from Borderlands. Same character, same villain, same hero. They're working on a borderlands movie...kinda. They haven't started filming, but apparently Jack Black will voice Claptrap...somehow.

The show should just be about Negan. His story is far more interesting than anyone else. Also he has the best character arc in the whole series. The Saviors were flawed but all of these communities are. They had the best infrastructure (not in terms of civil engineering infrastructure but they had a large population, an economy, a network of communities and outposts, hierarchy, civil rules and just overall damn good organization. Alexandria was an isolated group of people that survived by staying off the radar. They had no network and everyone lived equally in large suburban houses. It was not a sustainable society at all. Even in the comics when Rick took over everything, he admitted that he was just copying Negan's blueprint. The only way Negan failed was trusting the wrong people and being betrayed. A lot of people say Negan was too hard on his people and they were slaves with nothing to be happy about. That's demonstrably not true for 2 major reasons; 1. The people in the sanctuary looked up to Negan and panicked when they thought he was gone. He provided safety, food and shelter... more than anyone else could say. 2. In society, before and after TWD collapsed society, people were simply not equal. There is merit in the world just as in TWD Sanctuary. People have to work shit jobs with long hours for extremely little pay. That's how it's always been and will always be.

Weather you love him or hate him you gotta admit his strategy for creating an entire army is genius, Think about it most of the saviors were most likely small communities that got tired of the stress of providing for Negan and still having enough for thier own people thus it psychologically forces them to just work for points and eventually become saviors

Think about it most of the saviors were most likely small communities that got tired of the stress of providing for Negan and still having enough for thier own people thus it psychologically forces them to just work for points and eventually become saviors

Every time I see negan I think about Glenn and Abraham and what he did to ricks group and hilltop,the kingdom but negan he was a person to follow his rules and some people didn’t like his rules but most where loyal to negan and season nine negan changed and he was looming for redemption and he also saved Judith because he care about her and he would do anything to make her happy and special but Jefferey Dean Morgan is a fantastic great actor and every time I see negan he just gives me goosebumps 🐐🔥💯👍😎😱
