I relate to crying in the attic at night waiting for the mimics to fuck off a little too hard. Also the real life noises overlapping the in game ambient noises. Only difference is I watched way to many videos before buying the game and knew exactly how many kinds and what kinds of enemies to expect. Which was good because I knew what to expect. But was also bad, because I knew what to expect. And the anticipation of running into my first of various enemies might just be on par with the fear of not knowing how many types of enemies there are.
That side pouch is actually called a drop bag, in a tactical set up it’s mostly used for empty mags, but it definitely can be used to hold other things I keep my stims a cig and a lighter in mine along with empty mags lol. It’s nice to have your empty mags and full ones separate in case of a stressful situation in which you may not be paying attention to which mag your grabbing.
Glad you were able to make more ITR videos! I won't spoil anything about future enemies, BUT I have two tips-- one, that thunder/lightning you hear when an enemy spawns in is caused by a Rift. A Rift is that black squiggly buzzing thing you killed in a previous mission. To stop enemies spawning in, you have to destroy the Rift in an area like this. So if you hear the buzzing or hear/see the lightning spawning in a new enemy, then there's a Rift nearby (your scanner also tells you where Rifts are, just follow the green light like you're finding an artifact). Two, just a fun and not that big of a tip, is that if you put loose shotgun ammo in your side pouch, you can dip your shotgun in and it'll reload the side extra ammo holder things on the shotguns (some of the sniper rifles also have this). It won't put the ammo in the barrel, you still gotta do that manually, but you can just dip it in and all the extra ammo slots on the weapon itself will be filled. Hope things go easier for ya soon, I like the animations! Sorry if my Rift tip is a spoiler, but the game would've told you this info by now but it might've not been absorbed (this commonly happens). I didn't want you playing for 20 hours and only then realize how this mechanic worked so ya start kicking yourself.
I appreciate the tips. The idea of just dipping the shotgun into the pouch is funny to me. I suspected those buzzing things spawned enemies but I wasn't sure, thank you for clarifying that for me.
Fun fact : if you put loose shot gun shells in your pouch and then swipe your shot gun through it it will refill the shell holders on the sides of the shot guns 😊
The Seeker, the "dude that runs up to you," is the scariest enemy in the game because it simulates the fear of interacting with people who don't respect personal space.
you know how you found out you can put ammo boxes in your pouch? instead of removing every shotgun shell from a packet and loading them individually, you can load your shotgun straight from the box (hold trigger to summon a round and put it into the barrel/ammo shroud on the forgrip), should help with keeping your pockets less congested!
Just found this channel and I love it!! Btw if your going to use a shotgun I highly advise not using a sawed off, they're the loudest gun in the game which attracts a lot and I mean A LOT of enemies

Now you got to get off the new rock, but I mean hey, you got off the other rock so that's still a win ain't it? And also now you have gained a rock jumping skill point.. but you have to reallocate to fix boat points so I understand the feels though.. But good thing you got to the new place before the boat broke..or the rock..? Ok time to stop the metaphor now..

sawn off are fine early game when there aren’t as many enemy types, but like right when you hit security 2 is when you just abandon sawn off
