Had 2 pairs of Anker ear buds both failed within months i wont buy them again .Im using earfun 2 at the moment and they are really good .
@@pa_maj.MARTINI-van-MAN Like I said the 2 pair of Anker headphones i had failed so i i cant afford to lose the money on a pair of exspensive Anker earphones .They sound great but no good if they break within months .
@@hixyhicks Thanks Mick, that's good to know. Yeah too expensive if they fail so easily.
I have probably got a bad unit of the Sound core Liberty 3 pro. With ANC I was hearing more noise than without ANC. I have returned it because the fit didn't work on my ears. The only way to get the test passed was to use comfy foam tips and these were not confortable.
My first impression of the sound was great but the subsequent impressions were less positive.
I completely agree with your stance here. I've been so many earphones and so many back and forth but these are truly special and well worth the price tag
I bought the Liberty Pro 2’s based on your review a year ago, and they have been my go-to earbud, and my top recommendation when others ask for wireless IEM’s ever since. Thank you for the follow up on the new model! Great review!
Same, I bought them because they didn’t cost more than emergency dental work 🦷.
I love the customizable settings with the app, when I was younger (and dumber?) I was into trap shooting and not always with adequate hearing protection so I have a 4000 hz dip , I used the hearing test setting and love the results
Been watching your videos for awhile now.Your likeable, down to earth attitude and honesty is what keeps me informed and entertained.Purchasing a set of Wharfedale 12.2's based on a review you did.You should be more popular Randy my good man.Keep well.
Hello Randy, As a Professional Painting & More Contractor, I always have my Anker Soundcore Motion+ on every job using a sony NW-A45 Walkman or other various DAP’s I have.., Being a 68yr old Audiophile who owns LOTS of audio gear and known as such by most who know me, I feel with my tuned ears, the Motion+ beats the sound of my (at 1 time) $300.00 JBL Infinity One.. And the Infinity One is Stellar! For home (bluetooth) audio, I use Audioengine’s HD-3 TV , the Audioengine A5+ desktop and Kanto YU4 in bedroom.. Great review as always.. Best2You…
Yeah, I just want to say is that I prefer the earbuds with a push button too. Besides the tactile feel of the click They are just easier to use. Those touch controls can be tricky sometimes. But I especially like the push button because when I'm out walking my dog in the winter (I play my DAP all the time) I can have a beanie cap on, have my hood over it and wear gloves and still operate the push button. Try that with a touch control.
This episode seemed more like an ad than normal
@@user-yi3ox8wy4k Ever use the Liberty 3 Pros? Or the 2's?
If you've never used them then how would you know that the comments are "fake af". The earbuds are great, especially for the money and for the features and sound you get for said money.
Good to see your review, among a few others, which give the Liberty 3 Pro thumbs up. I first came across Soundcore's products in 2021, and decided to buy the Liberty Air 2 Pros instead of going for one of the big brand names. Even though I own an iPhone, I just had no interest in buying Airpods. Very happy with the LA2P's, and the app makes the listening experience even better.
I will definitely consider these for purchase. Thanks for great review! I will use your link. Only way I can support you within current budget.
Great review. I have the older Version of the Liberty 2's and they sound great to me. I may have to check these out. There you go costing more money.. Glad your channel is continuing to get subscribers. I enjoy your humor and reviews..
I have them. I love them! I own about 12 different sets of BT earphones, and these Soundcores are the best sounding and performing… by a large measure. What can I say… I love music and I dig all types of audio formats; (home 2 channel; pro-audio; home theater audio; headphones; earphones and car audio). The fit on these are good as well. They stay put, and are comfortable. Cheapaudioman is 100% accurate on his take/review. Get them; you’ll be super happy. 🎵 💪🏽 🎶 ‼️🙏🏽
are the soundcore 3 pro good for iPhone and have good sound quality/volume also are they luxury earbuds?
I love Anker products, I buy their cables, power bricks and multiport chargers. In addition to the Soundcore Q35 headphones, I also have the Life P2 and Liberty 3 Pro earbuds. I love the form factor for the Life P2s. Call quality is great. You can use either bud alone for calls. And the case has a USB-C port. I usually don't listen to music on my phone, so the P2s are my everyday carry. I would recommend the P2s to anyone who is just looking for basic functionality in wireless earbuds. I bought the Liberty 3 Pros because they supported LDAC, and, have noise cancelling. I will be using them on long (15hr) flights to listen to down loaded music. They are overkill for calls, but they are a clear upgrade of the P2s for music.
Best Buy, i got a pair based on an older review you did and loved them. Unfortunately lost one when the dog drug me through the forest after some critter. Definitely looking to replace. Thanks Randy
Great review, and Anker has been making great products for a long time, only fitting their ear buds are too. I don't like sound canceling either, except when around my kids on a long trip.
Sound Canceling Take Me Away🙂
Excellent down to earth review!!..just ordered a pair being black friday on amazon....$129.00 cdn...cant wait to get em!!!!!!
Great review! Thanks for the video 👍🏼👍🏼
Soundcore makes some of the best buds for the lowest cost. Their Life P3 is the best $80 one going, and the older Life P2 can now be had on Amazon for $30-40. The P3 and the Pro ones, the Pro 2 and Pro 3, all have an app that allows you to tweak the EQ to your liking
Excellent review, man. Very straightforward style. Subscribed.
Alright, convinced me to try some out. Excited to get them in.
Im actually happy with my $13 Jlab Go Air Pop. Use them on the go. I use my Tripowin Mele before bed time sections. And Hifiman EXS for computer :)
Nice Review Mr. Cheapaudioman Sir.
I got them for Testing, unfortunately absolutely not the right TWS for me. I like Anker, had a few different products and I think they make decent to good stuff. But with these I had trouble fitting them in my ears. Tried different tips, also Spinfit and Foam and all the Wings, but couldn't get a nice sit in both ears. Also the Sound is not mine. Too sibilance, with EQ the sibilance was quieter but not gone, just not what I like. Also I had too much trouble with the huge touch surface. Usually I have no problem making a touch command happen, maybe my hands have high capacity. With the Liberty Pro 3 and needing to correct the sit, I executed the touch command accidentally so often I deactivated single touch in the App.
They are not for me but I think a lot of ppl will like the sound. I would say it is an aggressive sound with high bass capabilities. Good for sport/ workout if they sit well in the ear.
I liked the bed music for today's video. Nice fit for the channel.
I have these and I owned the liberty 2 pros as well and out of the countless pairs of headphones I've owned from all the top brands the soundcores have been better. I have their clock radio too that they call the wakey and it sounds surprisingly good too. I think they're one of the best companies there are right now and I love their headphones.
Creative Outlier wireless for me. At around $50 they sound just as pleasing as my expensive Sennheiser wireless and are actually more comfortable. Creative is a company that specializes in computer audio which is why I gave them a shot. They did not fail to impress.
I hear you, I just got the soundcore liberty pro 3. Not as loud as I was hoping for. No I haven't set up the EQ functions as it looks like an hour process!! Earbuds are always slipping out of my hands and collects metal dust on magnets.
Excellent review, many thanks, good talent for communication
I have the Soundcore P3s. Love them for the sound and the app and their usable bluetooth range. Have other Soundcore products they are all excellent quality. I only use earbuds to listen to music so call quality issues don't matter to me. But if they did, I think noise canceling features would definitely apply. But since I'm music only the liberty pro 3s have features I don't really need and they are more expensive than the life P3s I use. Regardless hard to go wrong with Soundcore.
Same here.
I have the Liberty Air 2 Pro, the Liberty 2 Pro (used for smart tv private listening) and the Liberty 3 Pro. Happy with all and all in regular use. I hope Soundcore stops introducing new models for a while, it's getting expensive.
The upgrade bug is real
I will admit I'm a Soundcore fanboy..but for good reason I believe. Their Anker accessories are my go to now. Chargers and charging phone cords are the best for the money. Seemed like I was buying that kinda crap all the time til I switched to Anker. Now I have them in the car and all over the house, some pieces over 2 years old and never an issue, for products probably under $30. The couple earbuds I've used have good sound on the cheap as well. The over the ear Q30's are the cans I use/like the most. I've had them over a year now, still rocking out nicely. And I swear that they sounded awful til they burned in for about 8 hours...im serious. I haven't heard the Q35's though, but I'm happy with the 30's. Their sound/EQ App is basic but it works great. I like the Liberty Pro's as well, gave them to one of my kids though. We all may have different opinions on the sound quality, but the Anker phone accessories are top notch. Good stuff as usual Randy. You have such a good channel for pointing people in good directions on products. You have definitely opened my eyes to products that would have never been on my radar..whether I buy them or not it still helps inform me on what's going on out there in the "cheaper' but flooded market. I truly appreciate it.
I wish they would do something about their naming. There are so many models with similar names on Amazon I can never remember which is which. Their bluetooth speakers are pretty decent too, for what they are.
I got in on the L3P at a deal for $100. Love them. The app is the bomb with the custom eq.
Great price.
Thanks for sharing. Now I can make my decision.
I bought the edifier neobuds pro the ldac sends data up to 900kbps which is pretty impressive, with anc and dolby atmos they are really great
I still have and love the 2 should I upgrade? 🧐🤷🏽♂💯
Randy great video! If you had $1000 to spend on tower speakers, what would you buy?
I bought a cheapo walmart anker soundcore ANC headphones off of facebook and was really surprised by the quality. Its v-shaped but it sounds good. Anker does alright in my book.
Thanks Randy, great review of the Soundcore Liberty Pro 3. Good to know there is something good available for the wireless market.
Hey Randy, not sure if you've come across the AKG N400nc and even though originally were sold for around the same price as liberty 3 pro, they have been selling for a while now for less than 50$. And if you haven't even heard them yet, then the Cheapaudioman should most definetely get these asap and then maybe say a few things about them and compare them with the liberty 3 pros.
The AKG 400 is an old earbud 2 years I believe insane value for 50 bucks but they are quirky really quirky might drive this guy crazy. 🤔😐
@@mikeevans7381 Ummm, I'm sorry, I'm not sure I follow what the quirky argyment is all about and how/why you believe that it might drive Randy crazy... Are you not happy with yours for some reason? I own a pair and they perform without any problems consistently and flawlesly. Yes, the earbuds may not be "recently" released but are officialy "current" within the AKG line up and still widely available for purchase (I reckon for months to come) all over the web. Their performance and balance makes them alone very relevant to Randy and for their current listed price of
@@ELYTHS They were reduced to $50 for a reason, their QC and reliability are terrible. Check the reviews.
@@StellarAudyssey alright I'll keep it simple.... I don't have to watch the reviews... I already own a pair, i bought it with my own money and I'm giving you my honest feedback, u don't have to "argue" with me because you don't agree with my feedback, im not lying to anyone, i own a pair and I use them every day and my feedback is that they are the best sounding (balanced) earbuds i have tried up to 160 dollars and properly working with no "quirks" whatsoever... Just in case anyone's in the market for buying a pair of earbuds cause these are on sale for sub 50.
@@ELYTHS No one is arguing with you mate, nor is anyone accusing you of lying. Take a chill pill bro. The buds are wack for reliability, just take look at the reviews on their own website. That's a better gauge than your own personal experience.
Anker is THE brand! I have that charger SoundCore headphones . Love the company! Thanks!
I totally agree with everything in this review. I picked mine up when they first released. I’ve since sold every other head or earphone I had as they just weren’t getting used. Brilliant app and a very good price.
I don't see you refer to the fit, beyond "fit in the ear, just like that". You didn't mention the endless faff of going through every possible combination of buds and wings to find a snug, comfortable and secure fit. While I love the sound, here they definitely fall down for me. They were continually sliding out and letting in extraneous sound, the ANC providing no protecton at all, and I spent ages taking them off, fiddling with little rubber bits, on and off, on and off. In the end I actually had to consult an online forum and finally found someone who kindly provided a diagram of the human ear to illustrate the best placing of the wings. I can now get a fairly secure fit, but if I'm doing anything -- working out, walking along the road -- I still have to keep reaching up to adjust them and make sure they're still in firmly and this, of course, sets off the controls and I end up skipping tracks, lowering the volume, pausing it all.
There's also the "cuckoo" effect: I would love to be able to switch to my comfortable, secure and fine sounding Jabra 75t pair, but now that the Soundcore are installed on my Shanling music player, the Jabra's don't seem to be recognised and won't connect. I'm guessing this might be a bluetooth fault with wireless earphones, so when I'm commuting I end up taking the Soundcore, the Jabras and a set of wired ear buds, just in case.
"Never really moved the needle for me.." I've never heard that phrase before, but it definitely moves the needle for me!
I wear my 3s pretty much all the time. Now I’ve got the Space Q45s on order for my son. I think I found a good testing ground for bass. It’s Metallica’s LS B&P solo/bass track with Jason. ❤
Fukyeah Randy. Anker is pretty sweet. I have 4 of thier car jump boxes. Good quality
I have soundcore mini 3 Bluetooth speaker and love it
These do have ANC. I like them very much, sound is great. My only gripes are like my other soundcores, the ear wings loosen up over time and are starting to come off when I take them out of my ears. Also, the ANC isn't as good as soundpeats T2.
I experiencees the same .
What klipsch or jbl buds do you like Randy?
Dial down the treble down a bit with the app and these are easily one of the best sounding tws IEMs, they have such a wide and spacious soundstage with amazing sub bass. Anyone with a suggestion for wired IEMs that have the same technicalities as these?
Been using Anker for 6-7yrs. Solid stuff.
I just got a pair of AKG N400NC for $48 on its website, after watching Crinacle's review of them. I think it sounds really good, especially for less than $50. I would like to know what you think as it compares to the Soundcore Pro 3.
Own these as well and sound better than most wired IEMs imo… just wish they had dual connect
@@JBSCHAFFNER I hear ya about the dual connect!
I used these daily, I also hate them! 😂 fit sucks for my ears and I've tried all the ear hooks and tips it comes with. Also the treble is so nasty on these hurts my head, luckily it comes with EQ and makes them tolerable.(I turn high frequency all the way down) I miss the momentum wireless 2 even though they make you look like Frankenstein. 🤣 I'm patiently waiting for them to come out with the 3rd Gen
Have been using Soundcore/Anker wireless buds for a long time. Form factor of Liberty Air Pro 2 works for me and the sound is solid.
Probably a year and a half. I like the form factor of the liberties as well
How do EQ's work for earbuds like this? Do they change firmware inside of the earbud? Or do you need to use the EQ software at all times when listening to music etc? I use earbuds not only on my phone but with other devices like my Apple TV (and sometimes my iMac).
Oh and btw, I bought some $40 Soundcore Spirit Sports a few years ago and the sound on those were the BEST I've ever heard... 6mm dual drivers and nice flat, punchy sound WITHOUT ugly bass boost like too many headphones nowadays (like most Soundpeats... I got the much talked about H1's and they suck by comparison bc the bass is too much). I prefer more neutral, monitor sounding buds. Couldn't beat that price but they are discontinued now. Soundcore really made some nice sounding products.
Eq saves to buds
I'm getting really close to buying them. 😉
I used earbuds to pile wood when ever I bent down the controls would engage will these be ok
The 3 pro are only 79.99 today at best buy amd if anyone needs set of earbuds this is best deal ever on any set of tws
Thank you to the good reviewers like you for helping "us" with our purchases.
If you mountain bike or work out. Beats pro! The very best I’ve ever used.
I love buttons too! In the name of design every manufacturer removes more and more buttons to introduce touch control. I hate it... espacially in cars.
Cheapaudioman.... the 3 pro are my favorite tws of all time. They smoke the bose quietcomfort Sony xm4 sennheuser momentum 2 for sound. Anc and transparency are right there with them sony and bose and better than sennheiser. Needless to say Ive never owned iem till 1.5 months ago when I got the zex pro crn . Then about a week ago I got the olinas and man the olinas have now officially blown my Mind. Love the 3 pro for at work and out and about but man at home the olina are insanely good. Still can't put it exactly Into words but damn are they good!!!!!
I have soundcore , not the pros. I like to use one earbud quite a lot. This confuses the hell out of them, get a lot of pairing issues. Id like to say, the difference between old bluetooth codecs and something like aptx is stark. Old bluetooth codecs are garbage.
Thanks for all the videos
Love the format, brother@
The real question is how do they compare with the Sony WF-1000XM4, albeit $100 more expensive?
Anker makes great products like Logitech and Fiskars do.
Have you tried the Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 2?
Could never find a good fit with IEM's. Start to hurt after a while. Found a $15 pair of comfy LUDOS mem foam earbuds that do the job when needed. I'm a HP guy all the way tbh. And over time I've learned comfort is as important as sound
I have these, and they really are pretty great. I had a pair of Sony WF-1000XM4s that I returned because they were uncomfortable and I couldn't get a good seal in my ears and I exchanged them for these. But these Liberty 3 Pros seal very well and sound way better than the Sonys so I'm very happy with them. I found the default sound to be very sibilant, but I tweeked it to my liking and they are beautiful. They have very rich bass as well! Probably the only product where I turned the bass down a bit, even.
Are the soundcore liberty 2 pro still worth it
Bought the bose qc2 325 bux I returned them in 3 days got the soundcore liberty 3 so much better for 89 dollars at best buy
"If I use it more, it's the right product for me" - Absolutely true!
I got the AKG N400NC
Can we get a "stuff that Randy keeps coming back to and uses the most" video?
sure
I don't wear ear buds mostly because they hurt my weird volcun ears. 😫😭😛😉😘 Great review though. I did like to hear that these give Sony, Bowes a run for their money at a fraction 3/4 - 2/4 of the cost. 🎉📢
Yep. 😬
I'm hesitant about soundcore because I have a pair of them the sound quality is pretty good, but audio keeps cutting out and battery life is terrible listening at high volumes, even with noise cancelation off. I have the life dot 2 XR,NC. Plus touch controls are mediocre they barely work for me. Hopefully the liberty 3 pro's or even the 2 pro's or even the p3's are better then these
I recommend trying the EarFun Free Pro 2 with Oluv's EQ. It's the only one that I can actually enjoy. I was thinking of buying a Liric, but felt happy enough with these.
The same. the EFFP2's are my baseline go-to earbuds, hands down. The Life P3's are my backup...also great but with a stem design.
I have to wonder how these compare to the Moondrop Sparks that have destroyed everything I've put up against them for both my wife and I?
As a regular punter, I can honestly say that of all the wireless buds I've owned- Pixel pro, galaxy buds 2 pro, Bose qc2 and liberty 3 pro, I like the liberty's the most overall.
Have u tried sonys
Randy not sure if you are aware but the Tidal link above sends to a 'campaign' named 'Cheap Audo Man'
AKG N400nc are the best of the best.
Do these amplify environmental sound very much like hearing aids?
I was pleasantly surprised that my Galaxy buds+ and buds pro amplify outside sound & I could use them as hearing aids for my mild to moderate hearing loss. However, they are uncomfortable after awhile and I must have gotten a defective buds pro as it sounds great but buggy. I cannot afford 1000s+ on hearing aids and there have been so many mixed reviews on how well they actually work anyway. I understand more attention is being paid to people like me and major companies (apple) are starting to address this huge population of sufferers… if true, that would be wonderful, not to mention very profitable. It would be nice to have the best of both worlds, audio enjoyment and hearing enhancement.
Typically, does it mean the “transparency mode” or “ambient mode” will have that amplified hearing aid quality like my Galaxy buds? If not, I wish there was a simple term for those of us that need that additional quality to search for.
These are good. I've had them for a while and agree with everything you said here.
Here is a hack though.. My favorite thus far are the older model Sony 1000xm3
You can get these for $60-$99 on amazon (retail was over $200). They are seriously the best I've heard under $200 and have one of the best active noise canceling on the market.
You can even control the active control for different scenarios and work with Google assistant
Can't go wrong with either of these!
Good morning. What is an excellent way to test your hearing at they breakfast table? Have Rice Krispies or a generic equivalent and see if you can still hear the snap, crackle and pop. Remember how easy it was to hear it when you were young and had younger ears? When you first pour the milk on anyone can hear it, but can you hear it once it is sitting in the milk for a while?
Can you name the major rock star who was known to put ice cubes in his milk and milk with ice in his cereal? It's not Jerry Seinfeld, whose cabinets in his TV show apartment always looked like he had a lifetime supply of cereal on hand. But the rock star we are looking for was Jewish like Jerry. This rock star even came out with his own brand of cereal once. Who is he?
I have a set of jabra elite active 75t and they are hands down the best wireless ear buds on the market.
Have one too but the left airbud won’t pair and I know it’s still work because I use it to set up hear I.d and sound was coming out of it. My previous one had the same issue I had to send it back, this current one had the same issue before then it started to work again, now I’m start waiting for it to work again.
@@tracer073 mine have been completely perfect. That's so weird your having that problem. Have you tried to hold the second one down on the button to try and turn it on?
Are you going to review those new Sony ones?
Hi folks , great vid as always , may i ask if anyone knows how these stack up against the jabra elite active 75t , many thanks in advance 👌😁
Still looking for an answer? I have both of these earbuds.
So what’s the verdict?
@@djscaner17 They are very similar. Both have: excellent sound quality, small (jabra slightly smaller), apps make them highly customizable. Battery life for both are terrible. With ANC on expect only 4-4.5 hours. Both are comfortable to wear. I bought ear wings for Jabra so they would stay in, but you have to take them off to fit in case. Soundcores come with them. ANC for both is about the same: ok, but not great. Jabra added it to theirs later thru a firmware update. Soundcore connection is better (distance wise) after a recent firmware update. They both sound great, the Soundcore sound amazing though, it has 2 drivers for each bud. The Soundcore app is really cool, lots of customization. The Jabra has almost the same features in its app. The Jabra 75t ACTIVE has a higher IP rating. IMHO, it would come down to price. The Jabra 75t are no longer made, replaced by a newer model. If you can still find them for $80 or so, get 'em. Get ear wings online for $10. Don't get the newer model, for the money the LP3 are just as good and way cheaper. I paid $130, but I heard people find them for $100. Honestly, they're both great earbuds, it's just that the LP3 are a better value for the money. Hope this helped.
@@djscaner17 Soundcore L3P are $170 right now. That's in sale price of higher end $200 buds prices. A little pricey for what you get. Jabra Elite 4 Active currently $120. Check out some reviews. Seems like good price for Jabra quality and still has ANC.
Soundcore Sport X10s?
Here's a question: why dont I hear about car stereos with really good active noise cancelling? I think I'd actually like it in that application.
Sarcasm right? I hope so
gilbert I guess I never looked into it. Looks like Bose brought it to market 3 years ago.
Good morning sir love the review do you need support by somebody buying new coffee I didn’t hear anything about the beverage of the coffee this morning. Great video I was looking to purchasing these I ordered the cases that Sheila spoke about but I don’t get those until March 10 have an awesome day brother
82 euro with 2 coupons on Amazon! Best buy of my Life!
Soundcore, worth noting, also has some of the best budget options for Bluetooth speakers (motion boom or plus) and over-ear budget Bluetooth earbuds with ANC (q35, q30).
I want to try some over ear ones for sure.
I do own Liberty 3 but it sounds muddy and tinny.. I don't recommend that.
LG Tone Free FP9 s are better in my liking except weak ANC.
"For my old job" - Did you finally go full time with RUclips? If so, big congrats!
AKG N400 $48 best deal IMO
Next review.......The new Schitt Manni II phono preamp, vs the iFi Zen, as good at a better price?
Your adoring public wanna KNOW!!!
Ordered. :(
When you're right, you're right! I'm gonna pull mine out now. I was an adult and plugged them in last night.
Love mine! $99 Best Buy flash sale. Did I say they sound great!😝😇
Yeah I saw they had the black ones at Verizon for $99 at one point as well. I got a brand new pair directly from SoundCore for $150 at launch, I wanted to wait for a discount but they didn't even give it a Black Friday discount. You had to be patient
Akg nc400 best!
I love my anker usb/power strip! I am not sponsored in any way by anybody
They are good. I wish they sponsored me. That would be some sweet action
I travel for a living and could use something like that. Thanks!
