This is truly awesome, but in my opinion, it's excessively priced for 1080p without HDR. At this price point, I would expect a genuine 4K rear HDR camera (Starvis 2) and a front 2K HDR camera, which I would install on the rear window for a view of the truck bed.
I agree that's ridiculous on both accounts.... not having a rear view there has been a very minimal adjustment for me, and I'm completely satisfied with the rest of the vehicle.
Same, so many features were shown on release and throughout the 4 years it took, and then to remove sooooo many things i was excited about. Im not gona buy the truck till the 3-5 things are on it that make it worth it to me. Bed camera(to see your bed), rear cam that isnt useless with mirror like he just added, and the range!!! Wtf, 320miles on a truck... I drive 180 miles a day sometimes on my MYP and in the winter it really hurts sometimes to have to use super charger to just get home. On this, that 320 is prob 140 or less, since my MYP says 260 but gets 155. Why would i buy a range extender that takes up 30% of my bed permanently? When they did the tear down of this truck, the battery storage area was only 70% full, why not just fill it for an extra 12k like rivian and other trucks for longer range models vers charging 12k for useless space taker.
I don't see myself using this in the way you're showing it. I imagine this being useful for when you're towing, having a harness that another cable taps into by the hitch, and running the camera all the way to the back of the trailer behind your truck. Only way I'd use a digital mirror other than that use case is if it can tie into the truck's camera feed - which I know we can't do just yet.
Is there an extension cable for the front cam, I'd like to relocate it to the back window to see the inside of the bed. Also plan to mount the rear camera on the roof so i have visibility to the bed. Any issues going this route?

Any reason as to why you couldn’t mount the rear camera higher like above the bed such as a C8 camera? Feel like the view would be more useful
This is a great idea! I think Rivian and others have rear cameras higher which can show what is in the bed if you have it (tonneau) open.
@@bryanwiley you can there extra wire
What’s a c8 camera?
its ridiculous that he didn't make this truck with this feature standard.....ridiculous it is actually THE reason I did not complete my order

A very cool and necessary accessory for the CB. Thanks for sharing the install tutorial
Could you mount it to the top above the tonneau cover? How well would that work?
Extremely helpful tutorial! Thank you! 👍

Will you install Cybertruck Carplay Dashboard Screen from Tesstudio
Can you turn off the cybertruck camera on screen? Don’t think I’ll need it now that there’s a camera.
Can you ZOOM IN with the rear camera, while driving, or only when it's been saved as a video already?
