I love your handmade dolls! Seriously, these are better than manufactured, because each handmade doll has her own personality, made with love, time, care - and option to customize features if giving as a gift. I can't wait to create cloth dolls for my sister and I - Thank you so much for always inspiring us with great ideas (and patterns!)
I’m a senior and I’ve been subscribed ever since 5 or 6th grade I can’t believe how much you’re videos have helped em with crafting all these years it’s wild
My daughter totally wants me to make one just like yours 😂 She said your version is always better than store bought 🙌 We love your videos! 💖 Awesomely crafty. Keep up the great work 😎👍💖
I want to say showing your "oh no" version is so brave yet so important. I wish more creators would show their "this one isn't it" practice examples. People are so paralyzed by not being able to do it perfect the first time, it's great to see skilled creators practicing and learning too.
She said the black hair one is supposed to be like the na na na surprise 'Tuesday Morning'. That's no coincidence! They definitely made her to be like Wednesday Addams I think
There’s just no comparison - hand-made doll is a hands-down winner! They’re so gorgeous and cute! And they all seem to have such a cheeky look in their beautiful eyes ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The process is worth it all! I made cloth "Waldorf" dolls for years, cotton knit stuffed with wool. The two layered technique for the heads makes them alive.
@@recoveringsoul755 she means the inside of the head is made in 2 layers of wool. You make like a "brain and skull" and then you make the "flesh and muscles". Then you put the "fabric skin" on top. I have been making these kinds of dolls and giving them away for yrs (because they usually cost in the hundreds if you buy them and I believe all kids should have access to good quality toys), and the kids who are adults now, still have their dolls. Kids always love and appreciate a handmade doll.
@@recoveringsoul755 search Waldorf doll diy on RUclips and you will find a lot of videos. They are fun to make but the most informative videos are usually in another language. They usually make them from wool but when I began making them, i did use regular stuffing and quilt batting because wool is expensive. I have been wanting to make a fabric doll for a while now and was a bit timid to do so, your video just boosted my confidence, I will make them.....just have to practice that face painting though....hmmm

These remind so much of a doll my mother made me when I was little, she didn't have wire and I'd hug her every night when I went to sleep.(so much her head threatened to pop off I still have her and now she sits on a shelf. I always planned to some day make some for my own kids when I'm older so maybe I'll use a bit of inspiration from this diy too!

I came to RUclips to get some inspiration, and boy did you deliver or what. I’m in love with your creations 😘 thank you so much 🥳👏👏👏
This is so cool! A really great tip is to make the bottom of the torso kind of triangular like the bottom of a bathing suit or underwear, then attach the legs the same way you do the arms. That way she doesn’t have that crease at the hips and her legs can hold more poses!
Omg I have that manga book but anyways I like how you costume doll is how you want it to be and you don't have to just find all of the dolls in the store when you can make your own that you really like 😌
Honestly, it's fine if you like the nose better. But it's also fine if Toya prefers without the nose. Being "an artist" doesn't make her preference invalid, and your opinion better.
@dedetea Then why did the original poster mention they were an artist? Would they have just as soon mentioned if they were a plumber? No, it is a criticism, saying a REAL artist knows what's better, and that's what made it rude.
