Where in "White Christian Nationalist" does she think she fits, key word being "white?" She has already broken rule one by doing her part in the "great replacement" theory by breeding with a white man and having mixed children. You know that is strike one against her not to mention that she is black. Maybe by reading "2025" she would get a better idea of her standing or place in their idea of the American dream.

@@BornAnAtheist666 Kennedy got the equivalent of a Masters from Oxford, not Cambridge, but the point stands. Owens didn't go to Cambridge, and certainly didn't get a degree there. As far as I can tell, she never finished an undergraduate degree of any sort. Instead, she's been openly disdainful of education at all levels, which we frequently see among conservative figures who never went to or finished any post-HS education.
And while I sympathize with her dropping out, as it apparently had something to do with her student loans, it does mean she's both ignorant _and_ uneducated, which can be a dangerous combination in the media.

Pastor here. "The Bible tells us exactly what happened..." not only does she not know science, she does not understand what the Bible is. No one taking the Bible seriously thinks everything is "exactly what happened." This is so common even among many Christians. We need to have the proper respect for the distance between us and the stories in the Bible, and between us and God( if we belive in God...of course.) Wow. I mean we all have to admit though that if evolution is what she thinks it is, we wouldn't believe it either. If the Bible is what she thinks it is, who wouldnt hang on to its every word, word for word. She is her own undoing. Whenever she says, "I did my own research..." everything is suspect. People like her come out of college, not having understood anything they were taught, and blame higher education. I wish I had her confidence. But truly this is how other countries see Americans. Atheism is simply the lack of belief in a God or gods. That’s it-there is no further assumptions or ideas associated. Atheism is NOT an ideology but rather the rejection of theism.

I will conceed that evolution *without* divine intervention makes no sense to me; saying genetic mutations are completely random, while in the same breath saying they happened *in order* to accomidate environmental conditions (or "because of" them), is contradictory.
I also agree with her about how quick doctors are today to diagnose someone as transgender before they turn 18, without even considering the possibility that some of these young people don't actually suffer from gender dysphoria, but have picked up the idea from the media. There are freaking trans\"non-binary" TODDLER CLOTHES being sold at Walmart, for God's sake. Denying the *possibility*, at the very least, that social influence could be the cause of the rise in number of transgender people among the general population, is gaslighting 101. And don't get me started on "nonbinary" which makes no sense.
The word "bigot" gets thrown around a lot by people these days, many times just to demonize those who disagree with them; if you convince yourself the person you're talking to is some kind of a hateful, evil monster without any rationale, then you don't even have to hear them out, let alone question your own beliefs.

    • @jemiinou

I don't think you've genuinely studied evolutionary theory. Even if you did, it's even more insane to go "fairies must have done it" instead of saying I don't know or this is what I think - how and why.
Also, when you act like a hateful person don't be surprised to be called hateful. Non-racists don't get offended when being called racist, if what they did wasn't racist. Trans people are concerned about their safety and mental wellbeing. You're getting upset over such a small, vocal minority it's ridiculous. Why not be upset at those who try to stripe human rights away from others? Instead, you get upset at clothes you are never going to buy, and you're online looking to get outraged. Being obsessed with how people's genitals relate to how they express themselves is weird. Period.

While other animals have had to change, adapt, and evolve as the earth's climates have changed, and gone extinct when they failed, the horseshoe crab, from the moment it appeared, has been able to survive through it all without changing. That's a brilliant design if there is one. Everything else that dies out when temperatures go up or down, when the rain goes, or the CO2 levels changed, are evidence of poor design.
