What’s sad about the current state of Persona 3, is that a lot of people who watch these videos have already played the game and just keep searching for more content in regards to Persona 3. So a lot of people watching are only watching to see if they agree with your reasoning haha Either way, this video is good. (I’ve already played it 2 or 3 times tho lol)
That's true for most old video game reviews though. If it's a retro game guarantee that 80% of your traffic is going to people who have played the game.
Late reply! I came here today after playing persona 4 golden (my first ever persona game) and after seeing this video I think I will fall as hard in love for this as p4g!
Hi everyone! All of my sources are in the description, and for future updates follow me on Twitter! twitter.com/vthepizzaboy . Thanks! UPDATE: As of 2023, Persona 3 Portable is now available on all modern platforms, including PC, Playstation 4/5, Xbox One/Series X, and Nintendo Switch. If you want to play this version, these are your best options. Simply choose your preferred platform and you won't be gaining or losing much; the Switch version has the advantage of portability, the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions have high performance/resolutions, and the PC/Steam Deck versions have modding capabilities. There is also a remake of the game titled "Persona 3 Reload" in development, but as of writing there is not much information available. Regardless of how good it could be, it still will be separate from the original game and every version still holds up in the current day.
babybabybabybaby Opinions coming : Persona 3 has the best mood, theme | Persona 4 has the best Music and Story | Persona 5 has the best Gameplay and Art. But will you BUUUURRRRRN MYYYY BREADDDD
I played Persona 5 first, played through it 3 times, and I'm now in the middle of Persona 3, gonna be honest I like 3's characters just a bit more than 5's, havent played 4 yet though.
a few thoughts from a diehard p3 fan lol: - i felt like the sun social link, junpei/chidori, and minato as a character establish the theme of death a lot better than the hierophant tbh, so they work better as an example of what the game has to offer? i love the old couple and maybe i’m only saying this because it’s been yearsss since i replayed the game but i didn’t find their story all that remarkable? “our son is dead and we can’t let go of him. oh, now we can, we’re healing.” still touching, but ya know. - i’d say p4 and p5, while having the better gameplay and graphics, don’t have nearly as good stories or characters as p3. p4 is a jojo part 4 video game with anime tropes for characters (minus kanji, he good) and p5 is a lupin iii video game with anime tropes (minus yusuke to some extent) for characters. not to mention they both sideline characters’ development by putting them in social links, instead of incorporating them into the story like p3, so i’m just interested to hear what you thought p4/5 did better? :-O obvs this video is like a year old and it’s probs super cringe that i’ve written a damn essay on this game, but. yeah **dies**
I've actually never played p4 or p5, p3 was my introduction into the Persona series. I have p4 golden on pc but haven't played it yet since I haven't had the time to do so.
@@Vthepizzaboy fair enough. sorry, i just assumed you’d played them bc of what you said at the end of the video, but if you’re planning on making a video about p4 eventually, i’m looking forward to it :-)
Play the FES version. Half the game's message and themes are lost on P3P. Only play it if you have already played FES and want something faster, or you want to check out the female route.
Play FES if you want 3d environments. Play Portable if you want portablity. Also, I recommend to play as the female protagonist in Portable as well cause the males social links are great, especially Shinjro's and Akihiko's. I played both versions (FES and Portable) during quarantine and they sure were great experiences.
Guys I'm a persona 5R baby I finished royal in safe mode. After royal I played 4 Golden in normal mode and grinded 1 hour every day, I ended up beating the last boss at level 85. Persona 3 looks like a really hard game even in easy mode. Do You guys think i'll be able to finish and enjoy the game as much as Golden and Royal?
I can't say for sure since I haven't played 4 or 5 yet, but I think you'll enjoy it. it'll take some getting used to since it's an older game, but stick with it on easy mode and im sure you'll have a good time.
Sorry, but in my opinion P3 is the biggest piece of garbage I have played, I would much rather recommend Persona 2 or Devil Survivor, later one is from the same franchise and highly recommended if you like Fire Emblem.
3 still is my favorite among the series. Doesn't matter if its successors have better gameplay, this game hold a special place for me.
Yukari MAiG they all have great gameplay in my opinion
May or may not have started screaming BABY BABY BABY.

I beat p5, and I’m playing p4 rn, gonna try 3 for sure after 4
I'm 20 hours in and i'm still asking this question... I'm feeling bored and stressed while enjoying it at the same time and I can't stop playing it...
I'm like halfway through P4G right now and I absolutely love it, I totally need to play this game next
Underrated Video
Good to see someone respecting this amazing game here

I think that persona 3 portable has the best game play to be honest because of the slash, and piece type of attacks.

akihikos social link as the female protag got me crushing for 7 years now ._.

Aki's and Shinji's social links in general got me feeling depressed for some reason ;_;

This game is also stupidly expensive. Especially the expanded psp port. Well over $100
