I have one like this. I reach 233 one time. But it could go a little more.should have guts. air drag is enormous, and you should keep your head down, close to fuel tank. Funtastic bike
Hi, i have a Hyperstrada 2013 i change the gearing, i put a 48 teeth on the back and one teeth less on the front! And now runs a lot better and faster! Feels kind like a motocross. I love my bike now, before that it was no very fun tu ride. And. i also notice that the red limiter was on in about 10K revs! Happened to me on 6 gear at 210 kms/h ... Now that my top speed. Im so exited with my new gearing!! Cheers!
@@Mr1bigsal get a damper and it wont be wobbly. and no it definitely does not feel like an sbk. More upright seating, less hurt on the back and chill position great for long distance riding
You're right Thomas, it is the new 821cc engine, the Testastretta 11º. But it is the Hypermotard, not the Hyperstrada. I failed trying to reach Top Speed with the Hyperstrada, but you can see the video of the acceleration. Anyway, thanks for the comment. Kev

+Ferdinand von Borchert i think you can go upto 243 on an original hypermotard.. as long as all your shifts are perfect at high rpm... and also provided that u have a long stretch lol
Hello, interesting but wasn't that a bit downhill ? How come in your other video the top speed is 233 ? Did you change anything ? Is the bike stock ? I'm a 821 SP owner myself
its beaus the other bike is a hyperstrada have more drag from the wind protection and weight this hypermotard version is more strip down version of the hyperstrada all you can say the hyperstrada is a touring version of the hypermotard
I seriously doubt thats the true topspeed? The max it will do is 225km/hr which is more than enough for a supermoto and that speed is enough to keep up with most sbks
The speedo reading on this bike is 5% greater than actual speed...I'm guessing Ducati put this in as a safety feature. So if the reading was 243 km/H, the true speed is around 230 km/H
safety feature... feature... you poor little fool you. It's not a feature man. most bikes read higher speed for completely different reasons than what YOU have in mind.
You cant ask for more a supermotard that can go to that speed!!! Best bike ever
True!

Best bike ever!.. And yes it is The 821 true top speed, actually depending on the weather conditions you can go up to 250km
Emmanuel Alvarez does it feel solid like a sport bike or a little wobbly

Were those double digits next to the speed the tripometer?
Did/do you Hypermotard users also experienced big shimmy above 200 km/h?
Keep calm. this isn't shurely an original Hym 821. Maybe PowerCommander, bigger Airbox, transmission (front 16, rear 45 or sth else), etc...

1100 or 796?
you must have been using the Ducati DreamOmeter
Try getting a gps reading and you'll be lucky to hit 135mph.
Mine reads miles out too................

I should sell my kawa z800 and change this 821
Kevin i seriously doubt thats the true topspeed. Max the 821cc HYM will do is 225km/hr
Perfect ;-) it's enought
por lo que sale es muy poco
C'mom my r6 do 168 mph.
Hypermotard is not a sport bike
Ofcourse because thats a sports bike.
You obviously don't understand what this bike is
I've 821 Sp 2013 with zard exaust off.... 216km/h top speed...come on...
yeah 220 km/h sounds right. And the new 939 about 240, but who wants to ride a hypermotard 240km/h anyways.
Torque house Supermotos over 200 isn't fun at all, so much wind resistance.
i own a 2016 hypermotard 939 and the maximum speed i've reached has been 227 km/h the wind is way to fucking strong without windshield
Torque house i do
Harold Hurrle does it feel solid like a sport bike or a little wobbly.
real hypermotord Ducati top speed is 265 km
false
very false
stanley S An 821 will hit about 210 and a 939 will hit about 230, anymore than that and someone's bullshiting you.
Its has 2000rpm to go!
hypermotard top speed 201km/hour,,, just read wikipedia....
Angga Conni Saputra 796cc, 1200cc não !!!!!!!
