    In this tutorial I share how I made an off-shoulder bodice from my basic bodice block. Afterwards, I tested my patterns for errors and corrected them on my patterns. There are so many other ways to make the off-shoulder bodice and this is just one of them. If you know any tips or ticks that'll be useful, kindly share them below. Let's learn together ^.^

    Thank you Kim! It's been 40 years since I did a load of pattern drafting. My granddaughter wants me to make her an off-the shoulder dress for her prom, and I can't let her down. Now I must go back and look for your basic pattern. Thanks, again! Thumbs up and subscribed!

    Yay!!! I have been refreshing your page since.. Thanks. Will try this.. By the way, I tried out the paper bag trousers and it was nice. I made a few mistakes in the waistline, so it was a little tight.. Will try it again

    • @KimDave
      @KimDave  6 лет назад +1

      For the paperbag trousers, you have to make the overall waistline much bigger so it fits you thighs nicer. Before taking in the waist in using the elastic band. Hope this helps ^.^

    I'm guessing those corrections for snugger fit are something that is likely to happen if you have a larger bust size (larger cup size) - there simply is bigger difference between your bust and your underbust/overbust. It won't show so obviously in a top with looser fit, but something that has to fit snugly will definitely need those adjustments.

    • @KimDave
      @KimDave  6 лет назад

      You're right. I have a full bustline and the difference is substantial compared to my under-bust.
