- Hey DIY Fam, this video is a pattern tutorial in which I make an off-shoulder collar top, cutting and stitching included. I develop this design from my basic bodice pattern (see link below).

To finish:
The waistline sits into the waistline of your skirt to form a dress, or trousers to make a jumpsuit.
You can fix the zip on the side seam underneath the arm opening
Cut the lining with the main front & back patterns, attach along the neckline and arm curve. You might have to hand sew the arm curve edge with the lining
You will need about 1.5m of fabric for this bodice

Beautiful. Too bad Ive found this too late. I've been looking for a mother-of-the-groom dress and found this same neckline style on an online dress site. Unfortunately, the company doesn't have very good reviews. I've got five weeks to go so no time for experimenting-haha. You did a great job explaining and sharing through out.

Hi Kim. I've enjoyed watching your video. If I may make one suggestion. I think you can even cut the back pattern a little shorter in length so that you may not get the excess at the back and not take in the centre. Hope this helps you out.
