We are currently studying the book of Ephesians, and the Sabbath School lesson for this week is titled "Husbands and Wives: Together at the Cross" August 26-September 1. Thank you, Pastor! Another excellent presentation about how a husband Christ-modeling, self sacrificial love is the “most important” aspect in marriage (mostly misunderstood) resulting in a love-respect-submission response from his wife. Praise God that we have this study that hopefully could transform many marriages into a Christ -ordained marriage to the glory of His name. 🙏🙏🙏😇❤️

    The relationship between man and woman is a perfect way to help sinful man dwell upon the kind of relationship Christ would want to have with His church. Well expounded Pastor. Thanks

    🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
    00:00 📖 Lesson focuses on Ephesians, comparing husband-wife relationship to Christ-church bond.
    00:25 💍 Husbands should love wives like Christ loved the church, sacrificing for her sanctification.
    01:33 👩‍❤️‍👨 Wife's loving submission is in response to husband's self-sacrificial love, reflecting Christ's authority over the church.
    03:35 🤝 Submission means respecting, honoring, and appreciating one another; it's not about coercion or arrogance.
    05:38 🚫 Submission does not justify domestic abuse; it's about mutual respect and love in a healthy relationship.
    08:17 💒 Symbolism of the church as the bride of Christ: love, sacrifice, cleansing, and preparation for marriage.
    12:56 💑 Husbands should love wives as their own bodies, treating them with respect and care, as Christ does for the church.
    16:03 👥 Marriage unity signifies a holistic connection: mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical, reflecting Christ's love for the church.

    The point though is that love is not conditional. We should not love our wives/husband because they love us but regardless.

    • @HL365
      @HL365  11 месяцев назад

      While I understand what you are saying, there are certain aspects of love that can be enjoyed in only a reciprocal relationship. While God loves everyone fore conditionally prior to any conditions, there are some conditions that are present for someone to enter into an exclusive relationship with Him.

      Mat 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
      Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
      Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
      Mat 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

    Thank you Pastor Mark for this explanation:
    6:55 the dowry(10 coins)
    8:36 the 10 bride's maids bathed the bride
    Jesus presents Himself to the bride and washes her
    Jesus is the Light, Wisdom, Joy leading the bride through the darkness (confusion)
    If we obey His instructions as He leads and keep His commandments, then we are abiding in Him and walking in oneness (come, let us walk the journey together😊🎉)
    If I may ask: why 5 foolish bride's maids and 5 clever bride's maid? Atleast it would have been like a third of the bride's maids without oil. But if the percentage of the tares is equal to the percentage of wheat, we have to plead as Abraham pleaded for the people of Sodom and God submitted to Abraham (respected Abraham), He saved the righteous people that Abraham was worried of. 🎉😊
    God submits to mankind and He is teaching us to submit to Him, first and He teaches us to serve others/submit to one another/respect one another😊

    • @HL365
      @HL365  9 месяцев назад

      Thanks for your comment. In terms of your question about percentage those details are not meant to be taken literally. Jesus says that many will go in the wide path that leads to destruction, whereas only few will even find the strait and narrow path. Unfortunately many will be lost believing the deceptions of satan.
      But God does listen to our intercessory prayer for others. Please watch this: ruclips.net/video/5RM8G_mbpiU/видео.html

    Beloved brothers, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST will return on April 3, 2031, In several dreams Visions, FATHER JEOVA warned me, he also warned me, That March 2027, It will be the last time for us to leave the cities. He also warned me that THE LORD JESUS CHRIST will return in several gigantic flying saucers. 🛸🛸🛸☦️🐑

      Jonah did not want to preach in a city. The fish brought him to the city. The plant 🌱provided a temporary shade for Jonah, he tested death in the heat, which brought him to think about the city dwellers in case God poured His wrath upon them. He considered telling them the message of hope not of fear. Deuteronomy 31:6 Do not be afraid or terrified, the Lord your God will go with you.
      Anywhere with Jesus, we can safely be or go. He is the Light in the darkness, the Word to illumine us, the Love that encompasses us😊 and the Joy in sadness and the Peace🕊️ in conflict (Great Controversy)
      We can choose to be still; sitting at the feet of Jesus, there we find rest/peace😊
