The book of Micah ends with a promise-that God is forgiving, merciful, compassionate, and a God who casts our sins “into the depths of the sea” to be forgotten and forgiven. So many people carry around guilt and shame from the past and desperately want to feel forgiven. There is a practice today among Jewish people called “Tashlich” where they stand along the bank of a river or along the coast of the ocean and read from Micah 7:18-19 while casting bread into the water to symbolize their sins being cast into the depths of the sea. As a symbolic gesture, casting bread into the water is fine; but there is a forgiveness that comes through Jesus Christ that cleanses us from all guilt and shame! My name is Micah I feel blessed I was given the name. I relate to the prophet Micah I see all the carved symbols that desecrate and corrupt god's love in our society. The everyday practices of man and hypocrites who masquerade as prophets and parade the the destruction of conscience. We live in a day of false idols and a house divided by politics and leaders who obscure the image of God. Not only politicians but the American Christianity has become a cult and persecuted sinners by creating laws outside of God's law

Jesus takes away the sin of the world
It's a shame that as sincere as that film was. Only the blood of Jesus can remove sins. They wnt back, just as sinful as they came. Lord have mercy.

Amen, thank you, Lord Jesus, for taking all our sins away and casting it into the sea of forgetfulness, you have removed our burdens and made us righteous,having returned us to the Father by the blood.
This is a great overview of the book of Micah, it HIGHLY recommend everyone to read this book to see the verse between which was taught with this sermon. God's people where taught and experienced life with God through many generation, but they did some terrible things and fell away from God and the verse between tell how God is going to response to there action and also show compassion.(Micah 5 -7) There is some similarities of Jesus coming return. This reminds me I am a sinner and a discple of Christ which we are called to be different then the world which does not give us a license to sin (1 John 3:9). PRAISE BE TO GOD. (Romans 12:2, Colossian 2:6-7, 2 Corthinans 5:17)

I pray that everyone will remember the messenger was Jesus Christ who died for everyone sins and believes it's the Father that send the Son and the very land of Israel many still don't know or their Torah laws given by God to Moses to people of Israel is more important than the Messiah Son of God who was the Lamb and his blood washed away everyone sin,he wants everyone to be safed😢

This message touched on all the important points in the book of Micah and summarized it well. We thank God that we have Jesus through whom we are thoroughly cleansed and purged of sins. Pastor Hamrick. May God Almighty bless you for preaching the truth of the gospel. Please be more elaborate and mention to us the sins quoted in the Bible that we have to avoid and repent from it .it is very important that you mention the sins ,abortion is evil but it is not the only heinous sin in the Bible that God Almighty hates. Please call all them out while preaching.
