The only fuzz I own is the ROSS fuzz. I was invited to a really weird jam out in a trailer in the woods a couple years ago, a one-time thing. I played my 4-string bass (strung BEAD) through a Kustom tuck & roll that lived in the trailer. Massive setup with 2 me-sized speaker cabs all wrapped in the Kustom naugahyde. The tone coming out of that amp was absolutely massive, but really plush. It felt like if I laid the cabs down I could just sink into the tone and float there. So cool. When I heard that ROSS was back in business and had put the fuzz circuit from the Kustom into pedal form I bought one instantly. I really dig it. Wish I had that Kustom setup though! Hey, I'm probably over-selling the tone, but it really had an impact on me that night.
I like fuzz but you may not like fuzz so much.

Ross fuzz is a really solid fuzz.
Kind of archetypal I think.
