Have you run this more than once? I wonder how those servos handle exposure to water. They don't appear to be water-proofed at all. I'm impressed that they work at all. I would have guess that water would have shorted out the little brains of the servos. How deep under water will the RC receiver still receive signals? You mentioned losing signal. I wonder if the signal penetrates more than a few inches under water. What frequency range does the receive operate on?

I think the real sub-Marin are based on Water tank ,where they fill the tank if they need drive inside the sea and fill compressed air if they want to come on surface , maintain the Air and water ratio if they want to hold the submarine in a specific level .Please don't mind and apologies if i am wrong

kiran rocks transmitter and receiver from hobby stores or online, I can recommend the FS i6, and the foam board is from the dollar store or Walmart/ craft store

Our project is similar to your idea. Just that we want to track the behavior of fishes underwater. Can this submarine be modified to an extent to track the fish behavior? Please let me know. We are thinking of sending this submarine to small water bodies for demonstration.
Where's your submarine after it's sunk? It's probably not going to get out of the water to come back to you, that's probably my long-awaited part. I was amazed at the beginning but I was disappointed in the end. But anyway your so very talented and creative.

David Turner they are not actually water proof, this means through the time the water will enter and it will destroy the servos
