- In this video, I install Megan EZ I Series Coilovers onto my CTS. It was rather tedious, and it costed me a wheelliner or two, but I'm pleased by the results!

hey i got a 2009 cadillac sts 3.6l are the megan racing coilovers the same of the cts 2009 ? do you know if they are going to fit i am trying to find something to do the same but i cant find nothing lol

Good to see the car lowered now. It's gonna be great to see the other stuff you're gonna do to it later. Everything is a learning experience and I like seeing your efforts rather than take the car to the shop (like me 😂)

Nice. I got the old school d2's on mine. With those 18's ended up rubbing alot but nothing too crazy. I'm considering moving to lowering springs or even the stock fe3 since I'm driving the car more lately.
Yeah I had to remove the wheel liner because my buddy destroyed em when we maxed them out, but without it it’s low enough but to where I won’t rub. FE3 should be way more comfortable!
With the drop I started with I removed the liners too and also had to roll the fenders in the front. Keep an eye on the tires on the inside, they will definitely wear faster now.
@@jb-rg1hz Yeah, camber wear will be a PITA. My last set of tires on the OG suspension lasted me a year and some change because of how I was driving it. Good thing my LX-UHP207s are affordable 😅
Any chance have you looked into the the camber adjustment on our cars. Apparently there is a slot where the lower control arms meet the frame that is adjustable. I have looked at the bolts but I dont see how they are adjustable. I havent loosened them to really verify though
@jb-rg1hz I’m not too sure, I’m debating on redoing the suspension as a whole but I never noticed anything like that before.
What kind of rims are those? I've been looking around for some good ones for about a while now.
Heya. They’re OEM Cadillac STS 18x8 9-Spokes. It’s the 05-07 Style ones, the updated ones is a slightly different design.

Eventually I plan to. Right now won’t be the best thing to do it. Soon hopefully!

Love how they look, but I’m not a personal fan of how the Spec-D lights look. Prefer the OE look for the back.
