Lyrics:
Good evening one and all we’re all so glad to see you here.
We’ll play your fav’rite songs while you all soak up the atmosphere
I’ll start with Over Man River then maybe Stormy Weather too.
I’m sure you know just what to do.
On with the show, good health to you.
Please pour another glass, it’s time to watch the cabaret
Your wife will never know that you’re not really working late.
Your hostess here is Wendy you’ll find her very friendly too.
And we don’t care just what you do.
On with the show good health to you.
Petina starts her show at two o’clock.
Oh, if by chance you find that you can’t make it anymore,
We’ll put you in a cab and get you safely to the door.
But we’ve got all the answers and we’ve got lovely dancers too.
There’s nothing else you have to do.
On with the show good health to you.
You’re all such lovely people dancing eating ‘round the floor.
But if you have to fight, please take your trouble out the door.
For now I say with sorrow until this time tomorrow.
We’ll bid you all a fond adieu.
On with the show good health to you.

One of their most underrated songs. I enjoy it every time I hear it!!!
It is normally the opener of the Album !
"" Come in and enjoy the show !!! """"
@@malegrissusran8847 An amazing album all round. Just incredible raw talent shines through in every aspect and nuance of this album. Better than the Beatles Sgt Peppers in my opinion although I love that album dearly. I know this was released 7months after Sgt Peppers and many would argue that it was in some ways a copy/response but Their Satanic Majesties for some reason edges it for me. Yet it is relatively unknown by most.

Greetings
Its a jolly sound i feel transported to Petina's show lol
underrated album
Nice piano playing by Nicky Hopkins. Cheers!
I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!! Makes me feel like in a cozy British cabaret with great vibes, settling in for a great evening.
The Stones are about ten years +/- older than me.
At this late life stage they feel like older brothers blazing the way ahead, reassuring me that this mystery all ends up okay.
Keith really is the greatest at coming up with a guitar lick at the start of a song in order to catch the listener’s attention.
Yes he is. He's second to none.
those were the days, blessed to have been born in such a musically rich time. transistor radio in hand.
Paraguay here 🇵🇾🇵🇾☀️ Pájaro 🦅 campana mention ‼️‼️
1:02 Petina, starts her show dancing "Pajaro Campana", paraguayan harp music, from Felix Pérez Cardozo, then 2:32 Pajaro Campana again. Wonderful music...!
Thank you Daniel. Yes, wonderful music. On with the show.
Exactamente.
Its Sergio Cuevas playing the harp, my father.
This is an excellent album !!
PFANTASTIC ALBUM.....GREAT
I HAVE THE ORIGINAL VINYL
AND CD VERSION....
an album so ahead of its time..im just discovering it now...52 years after the fact...great stuff
The rock show does not die.
Each time I hear this song it provides me with a kind of feel-good feeling. There's nothing else you have to do, that is!!!
I love this song 🎵 ❤️, it sounds really trippy. It reminds me of my days when I would trip, and listen to music 🎶 🎵 like this. It's really taking me back to my teenage years.
Much as I love the Beatles, I must say this answer to Sgt Peppers is brilliant.
AGREE!
Copying is not a brilliant answer.
Yeah but entire tunes on Pepper are backmasked, can stones album say the same
It's wonderful to be here, it's certainly a thrill...
Pájaro Campana...!!!
I just love Nicky playing us out for the last 40 seconds or so.
This was such a great follow up to Sgt Peppers. Blended perfectly to the times back then. Persian carpets on the floor and walls, 12" x 2" candles, black lights and weed at $15 an ounce. Man, to be 17 and still being back in the day. This would be my wish to living in a reincarnation life.
The Stones had such a superior supporting cast. Nicky Hopkins is bad ass!
Thanks for posting my complete favourite album complete with the lyrics...made my night!
Ha,,really amazing ❤
I always loved the freedom and secret pleasures that transpire in this song. "You´ll find her very friendly too..." On a more serious note, here Jagger is beginning to develop the literary voice for what is coming next: another "club" owner introducing himself, a man of wealth and taste...maybe they are the same person.
I know the Beatles are the greatest band ever, but i love the Rolling Stones from '64-'74 and although you can't compare this to Pepper and the likes of A Day In The Life but it's still a classic Psychedelic album. I love Psychedelic music from the '60s and this with We Love You/Dandelion sounds like nothing else the Stones ever made. They have dismissed it apart from She's A Rainbow and 2000 Light Years From Home, but it's a great listen from beginning to end.
Psychedelia Man!✌️
Psychedelic brian jones on mellotron. Love it.
"Mellotron"? Paraguayan harp.
@@thebelldog4863 anyone has a picture of an Paraguayan harp?
Fave Stones album!!!

Happy Birthday, Mr. Jagger
Nice fantasy and very pretty amazing song!!!!🎸✨✨✨✨
Love this song so much. It reminds me of what rock and roll circus is supposed to feel like
Sgt Pepper feel ...Motown riff ...PAJARO CAMPANA SOLO!!
I LOVE Their Satanic Majesties Request...R.I.P. Brian Jones
rip charlie :(
Love the jangly guitar riff
Very trippy album. A perfect compliment to Sgt. Peppers.
A decidedly mediocre off of Sgt. Pepper. Down to even individual lyrics. It's so obvious. For example, On the 1st song on Sgt. Pepper Paul McCcartney sang, "I really don't want to start the show ... " Here Mick sings "On with The Show!" I love the Stones, but even they know this album was trash.
"You're such lovely people dancing GAILY round the floor"....on the sheet music!
Thanks for the lyrics and sound quality.
I always liked the melody to this one, sort of like "One More Try", another underrated tune, from Out Of Our Heads. And upon hearing this song, I would get up and flip the album over to the beginning...
All these songs from this album. Good.
Better sound than I've ever heard on this one!
The Rolling Stones - Evergreen Classics of Pop-music
: IF YOU HAVE TO FIGHT, TAKE YOUR TROUBLES OUT THE DOOR....... THATS HOW IT WAS!!! GREAT ALBUM.
what a great song never hear it on the radio how different is song is compared to most others I love hearing it anytime
one of the first albums I ever bought back in the day, as a pre-teen. I always thought the lyrics were "On with the show and the hell with you" lol
Great disco music !
This sounds like a tune a young Freddie Mercury loved.
RIP Charlie Watts, 2000 light years from home, but living forever at Aldebaran star!
There are infinitely more than quirks in this bizarre and rebellious sound architecture ... Like a naive soul not yet deflowered!....... ;-)
Schön....🎶🎼🎵🎤🔝👏...
Crazy.
Long live the memories of Brian Jones & Charlie Watts. xoxo The Clarences
just a superb rendering, thanks
This would have been perfect if they performed it on The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus
I'm so happy I found this at Discland. It's not my favorite Stones album, but I love how different it is from their other stuff.
We were doing practically everything ourselves anyway. I'm fed up with arrangers and people. We've done all the music ourselves.
*_Mick Jagger, 1967_*
And it turned out great, just imagine if they had someone like a George Martin to sort it out
I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO HAVE SEEN THIS SHOW
My favorite R.S. guilty pleasure. Why does no one mention that the rhythm on this song is fantastic? I can see how the band wants to disown offbeat stuff like this, but the amazing thing about this band is that the fans often like some of their stuff a lot more than the Stones themselves do.
1:02 , 2:32 Paraguay ❤
very good colorful
!
Love it...

Go on, Stones!
Loveeee ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I always loved that song... Oh by the way I have this album with the silly plastic 3d thing on the cover.

That was my weekend lol !!!!!!
Good health to you too Mick.
The best
1:10 el pájaro campana😍
The main guitar riff reminds me a lot of Dance On by the Shadows.
3 years i search this song.. Huftt.. really love it, always play in my head

A classic tune from the Stones' breakthrough Sergeant Pecker's album 😂😂

Dance Little Sister, Dance
That Roulin Stounge feeling again😉
Pajaro campanaaaaa
i get it. if you get it, rock on
It's wonderful to be here
It's certainly a thrill
You're such a lovely audience
We'd love to take you home with us
We'd love to take you home
not even close...go away
Na impresionante
Kind of reminds me of the Beatles, "Your Mother should Know" Same Dance Hall vibe.
While the beatles sgt peppers happens in a familiar show, this stones album flows in a darker place. I think is the "dark side" of that
yes it sounds like & reminds me of Sgt peppers Lonely Hearts club Band.
Reminds me more of the Kinks
Reminds me more of Tom Jones
☮️
On with the show
Good health to you!
At 0:24: is it "Ol' Man River" or "Over Man River"? Either way great song. Cheers!
Makes a change from Jagger's Mississippi accent
Has some of that same kind of wacky background atmosphere that Yellow Submarine had (which Brian sang background on and supplied misc background noises for).
Listen to the song "Pájaro Campana"
This is like being for the benefit of mr kite
Que é como " who s been sleeping here" beteen the buttons .
I have always loved this song and the album too. But can any one hear what is said in the backround chatter in the intro?
I always loved the whackiness of this album, but I must admit that on this one, you're waiting to hear at any moment "A Splendid Time Is Garanteed For All"
Not at all. It invokes the atmosphere not of a circus, but the seedy London strip-clubs ... (“… a big live show … They’re naked and they dance! … it’ll cost you twelve and six to come in, sir, five shillings for membership, sir … ‘til one o’clock tonight, sir … It’s non-stop. It’s a continuous showing … Stay as long as you like. There’s a bar downstairs …) And as a closing number, it serves the exact purpose that "Something Happened to Me Yesterday" does for BETWEEN THE BUTTONS, their previous album (which, btw, preceded "Sgt Pepper's" by six months).
Could not agree more.
Kudos for trying.
I've always heard it as a poor stab at The Kinks.
@@retardedsilverfish Sure as hell sounds like no other Stones album. The Beatles had an acid album the Animals had. So the Stones had to have one. I like it and it is the only one of theirs that I do like.
Actually I am waiting for it to end
"I hope you didn't record any of this."
"No I didn't record any of this."
