Thanks, man appreciate your taking the time to make this vid. My dishwasher isn't an exact duplicate but you pointed me in the right direction. My GE Nautilus in a rental started up in within 10-15 minutes and stopped working. Took out the 7 screws to separate the 2 door panels, and removed the center screw that held on a wide ss latch with a plastic cover underneath it. I located 2 door switches and one was stuck in a down position. Metered them and one tested bad. I ordered 2 Interlock switches and replaced them today and the dishwasher is back up and running. $12.00 and 20 minutes of my time!!! Read your switch for NO or NC. Your metal connector will be labeled as one or the other. NO=continuity happens when the button is depressed. NC=Continuity happens before the button is depressed. The markings are on the switch!

Can you by pass it somehow? I put a new mircoswitch in last month and it melted. Wires are still good.
I would replace the micro switch .
I notice that dishwasher door switches are $20 and microwave door switches are 2/$10. They look identical- are they the same?
