  • This flight review covers my trip from Tunis to Jeddah on Saudia's Airbus A330-300 HZ-AQ30 (which unfortunately was destroyed in Khartoum a few days later).
As an Avgeek, Saudia has been on my bucket list for a while, and I didn't regret trying out their business class. It's a kind of regional business class, and compared to their intercontinental business class, it seems a bit outdated. The other one I will try shortly.

That was a very fair and balanced review, with lots of careful thought and insight. I also liked your editing and music selection. See you on the next one!

Thank you. However, faced some quality issues with the 360 footage, but with the next videos it should be resolved🙌

So glad you made sure filming was O.K. for others.
That's very rare these days! 👍
We like Saudia very much and truly don't mind them not offering alcohol.
SAUDIA always is one of our preferred Airlines when our plans call for travel. Inflight service really is great, food delicious and Saudia hospitality warm and very authentic.
Great review - thanks for sharing!👍

Many thanks 😄. I also enjoyed Saudia a lot, and I even flew on their B787-10 with the new Business Class, making the experience even better (review coming soon😊). Not sure if you have been in the new Saudia Business Class Lounge in Jeddah. Just wow. Always happy to fly Saudia again, I agree.

There's something chilling about watching videos taken onboard "ghost aircraft".

I guess you refer to the hull loss a few days later? I agree.

Tolles Video. Bin auch schon paar mal in der Saudia Business geflogen. Im Dezember dann wieder, Tunis-Jeddah-Kuala Lumpur. Freue mich riesig. Eine tolle Airline - auch ohne Alk.

Rip HZ-AQ30 sadly burned down to the ground in Sudan

What’s even sadder is that this is Saudia’s newest, last and final A330-300. I’ve never flown on AQ30, but I’ve flown on AQD and AQE back in 2011 from DXB-JED and vice versa, back then those A330s were brand new but had no IFE, I always wanted to try the Regional A330s from Saudia with new IFEs.

You should not call Saudi Airlines a dry airline,,,you should call it a CLEAN airline

Thank you for your comment. Not sure about the official terminology, but I believe Dry is commonly used to describe places that don’t serve alcohol. However, Clean sound right too:)
